"Minatozaki Sana, can you come to the office right now?" I received my orders on the phone while I was in my room looking for a book to read, it was from my father and he was looking for me.

My father had always kept everything in his life into one big chunk, called professionalism. He treats everyone in his life as some object that he used for his business and they are nothing more than that, I was one of them even though I'm considered to be in a very high position in his company.

Everyone in the company treats me as the only female successor in the Minatozaki Empire and addresses me as Miss while Mr Minatozaki would prefer me like a chess piece that he uses for his games also known as his plans to every of his business deals, I was only born because he needed a successor to have his inheritance passed down to the next generation and unfortunately my mother who is also a chess piece passed away relatively early in my childhood and he never remarried because he was afraid that remarrying would have his inheritance snatched away.

Hence, I became the only successor in my generation and he was more than happy to have me be part of his plan to marry me off to someone trustworthy, someone whom he has worked for many decades, someone who is around the same age as him, someone who had 2 wives so that his empire would be saved.

Honestly, I didn't want to. I didn't want to be married to someone that I don't even know, let more he is around the same age as my own father. If I would get married to him, I will forever be under his two wives who will look down on me for marrying their husband who has been married to them.

My father does nothing but to make me agree to things that I don't want to, he thinks that I will agree to everything that he says just because I am his only beloved daughter and chess piece. Well, I am not going to let him get his way through me this time, not anymore. I'm going to do my own ways without anyone interfering.

I fluttered my eyes open and I was greeted by the bright hospital lights on top of the ceiling, there were white curtains surrounding me. I shouldn't be here at the hospital, I couldn't have passed out, I have no recollection of it. There was water around me the last time that I was still conscious and I have no idea why I was there in the first place, I have no reason to be there either.

Flashes of familiar faces run through my mind and I remembered everything that happened that very night that I escaped, it is a painful part of my memory and I don't want to ever remember it. The doctor comes in, distracting my train of thoughts for a moment.

"Do you remember your name?" He asked and I felt a little reluctant to tell my name to him.

I looked around the walls of the hospital to confirm the place that I was in, if it was being owned by the Minatozaki Empire, the bedsheets that I was being covered with has the initials MUH which stands for Minatozaki University Hospital which is one of the many businesses that my family owns. Out of all the hospitals that I have been sent to, I have to be in this particular hospital.

"Don't worry, you are not in the Minatozaki University Hospital and it is a sub-branch of the hospital, this is the SeMoon nursing home and it is nearly not related to the hospital mentioned."

I have not heard of this nursing home, let alone knowing that I am in the hospital as soon as I wake up. "A young man saved you several months ago when you had drowned, he found you and immediately brought you here."

"A few months ago, you say?" That was the only sentence that I could say after a long minute of processing, "What month is it now?"

"You were brought here on 17th May and it is 17th November today, it has been half a year since you have been admitted here." So, 6 months huh?

If that night happened 6 months ago, they must have thought that I have been dead since I was gone for such a long time. "Did anyone come to see me during these 6 months?"

My father aside from managing a lot of businesses, he also has a team of experts of various occupations who will work for him. Did he tell his IP agent to search for me?

I was hoping that the doctor would shake his head but he nodded. "One person came, he was the same person who saved you that night. He came to look upon you 3 months ago and to pay for the hospital bills here."

What is his motive for doing that? "Do you know who is he or how he looks like?"

"He is very tall, handsome and a very fit man. I think that his name is Chae HyungWon if I could remember correctly." He told me and I was stunned by the familiar name, I swear that I had seen this name before.

Footsteps were coming closer to the door and I tensed up immediately, not knowing why I had done that. I just got a very ominous feeling from it and I don't feel so good. He opened the curtains and he looked at the doctor and me in the bed, my eyes widened at the sight of him.

It is him, the one who inspired me to gain my own freedom. I can't believe that he is really here, right in front of me. "Oh, you are here doctor... I was looking for you, there was a patient outside asking you to play with him."

"He is the benefactor who saved you back then." The doctor briefly introduced him to me. "I'll be back very soon after I am done dealing with this patient." He goes out of the room and I was being alone with this man that I barely know but he left a very huge impact in my new life. Without him persuading me to leave my own family for a new future, I would have gotten married to that old man a long time ago.

"Oppa..." I have to go with him no matter what if I want to live a new life.
