Hyungwon

I sat down outside the hospital room, my hands clasped together, it was clear that I was nervous about the girl inside there. I wonder what kind of a situation she is in that she had become like this?

I asked the nurses around here earlier and they told me that she is a rather mysterious person, there is no identification on her when they saved her, I could confirm it since I was there but at least they should know something about her name or her parents. I also heard from the other patients that she is a wanted person and people have come to the hospital before to launch a search party for her before but she was never found, I also didn't believe that she is a wanted person.

She looked really pure and innocent, there is no way that she is a criminal and she tried to escape from the people who wanted to get her. I think that she is just confused about the whole situation after being in a coma for almost half a year and she loved her boyfriend a lot before the accident, she woke up and her boyfriend was the first thing that was on her mind, that would perfectly explain why she mistook me for the person that she loved.

The door opened and I immediately stood up, facing the doctor who had a rather calm look on his face, it is a complete change from the look that he had a few minutes ago. "Chae Hyungwon ssi?"

How does he know my name? "Yes?" I replied, maybe he had asked around for my name. Doctors can be that prepared sometimes, in order not to be too rude to the people that they are going to talk to. "Is there anything wrong about her?"

"About that... Do you have time to spare today? If you are, would you mind that we will talk in my office instead? It is a little confidential and I don't want too many people to know about it."

I looked over at my clock, there is still a few more hours before my shift at the convenience store near the place where I stayed. I would normally work night shifts at the convenience store on weekends and it fetches me good money other than the main job that I have with my roommate and friend. "I have work in the evening but I don't think that it would affect anything."

"Great, let's go then." He led me to his office which is just located a floor below and it is just a simple office, there are his desk and a chair next to me, two couches at the corner and a coffee table on the middle of it.

I sat down and he followed straight after, taking out his clipboard and flipping through the pages, his face showing an uncertain facial expression that I couldn't read. So is she in a critical condition or not? "Is she fine?"

"Yep, her tests showed that she has nearly recovered and she will be able to discharge tomorrow if her condition doesn't deteriorate but there is something about her." He paused for a moment and he takes a look at me. "Her memory is the key, it appears that she lost her memories during the incident and she couldn't remember anything but one person, you. Have the two of you met each other before?"

I shook my head, thinking back of the memories that I have with her. Nothing much came up except for that incident where I saved her from and now there is a blurry memory of her that I have with her, I was working at an event for a one day job and I have spoken to a lady longer than anyone else at the event. She was fully dressed in branded goods and limited edition items that all the ladies would love to have, she has long flowing hair and she has rather red lipstick on.

One thing that I remembered about her is that she didn't take the glass of champagne from my tray and instead she requested for a glass of red wine, she wasn't a fan of champagne. Her voice also sounded a lot like the girl, though they both sounded rather sad. There is a very high possibility that this lady here might be the lady from that night, how did that lady land into such a situation?

"I think that I have met her once at an event and she is one of the people there." A name came to my mind as I talked more about her. "Is she part of the Minatozaki empire?" I heard people talking about the Minatozaki empire a lot when I was serving drinks there that night, it is a conglomeration of several businesses which is owned by the Minatozaki family, who had been the boss of the economy for many centuries.

I thought that I just caught a glimpse of the doctor looking shocked for a moment but it is just my imagination. "No, she is not. She is just an ordinary person by the name Woo YiWon." I really was imagining things...

I nodded. "Then is her boyfriend coming to see her or something? She seems to be really eager to see her boyfriend."

The doctor shrugged his shoulders. "That's the thing, we could have her discharged tomorrow or earliest tonight but she has no guardian to take care of her, she is an orphan and has no family around."

"If you are hoping that I could take care of her until she recovers her memory, the answer is no. I can't do that."

"But you know her quite well, and she thinks of you as her boyfriend. It would work, you can have her stay in your house for the time being and she will leave after that. It is as simple as that."

It would work if I have a very big house to provide for but I don't. "I am not living alone, my friend is my roommate and landlord, he is the one who has the final decision."

The doctor only nodded. "Then we have no choice but to send her to a home so that she can continue to love there, but she will be unable to afford it since she is not working and there is no one who will pay for her bills. She can do all that if she stays with you, she will have free food and free lodging."

"But I barely know her at all!" I told him. "There is no way that I would allow her to stay with me and my friend unless..."

"Unless?" The doctor repeated.

"Unless my friend agrees to it, I think that he will." I hope that he doesn't get mad with three people occupying his lot.
