Jughead pov
Maddy was cute. She said she was in all of Betty's classes so she will be in every one of mine. I went to school.
Maddy pov
I got into an outfit then drove to school with Betty. We walked in.
V: hi I'm Veronica. Veronica lodge.
M: AGGH!
I ran into what looked like a janitors closet.
Betty pov
J: I'll go look for her.
B: ok.
V: what's up with her b?
B: I don't know. I'm going to find out though.
V: yeah.
Maddy pov
Jughead walked in.
M: I'm going to have to move again now. Well I'm going to have to drive to a different country or something.
J: why?
M: it's not safe. If she's here Hiram is as well. My mum didn't die. She was shot. Killed. by Hiram. Or commonly known as the man in black.
J: well I'm coming with you.
M: you don't even know me.
J: maybe not but I'm willing to.
M: no you can't because he will hunt you too. The only way I can escape this is by confronting hiram myself and knowing for sure what happened.
J: ask Veronica about it.
M: I'm going to.
J: come with me.
He held my hand and took me to the student lounge.
4 hours later the school bell rang.
M: so v can I come back to yours then.
V: yeah sure.
We got to the Pembrooke.
I walked in and it was grand.
Veronica took me to his study.
V: daddy, Maddy would like to speak to you.
H: of course Mija
She left me and Hiram alone.
H: look if you came here to try and threaten me you need to know that I would never hurt you Maddy. Your mother was evil. Me and your mother were in connection for a while and she planned to kill you when you were three. Then she told me when you were 10 that she was going to drown you and throw you in sweet water river.
M: then you should have rang the police or something don't kill her.
H: I didn't kill her. The sheriff said that she had to come back to riverdale first to truly arrest her. she killed many people in her time.
M: how did she die then? If you didn't kill her.
H: I sent two of my men to bring her back to riverdale and she tried to kill them. One of them didn't put the safety cap on and threatened to shoot her. Without the intention obviously. He shot and he didn't miss.
M: it still doesn't explain who my dad is.
H: it's me. You are welcome to stay here any time you want.
M: so my mum is dead. For sure. And you won't hurt me. So Veronica is my sister.
H: technically.
M: I have so many questions.
H: ask away it's the least I could give you.
M: did Alice know?
H:no
M: and one last thing. Would you support me through everything?
H: with reason yes.
M: so if I became a serpent you wouldn't mind.
H: no.
M: I'm gonna go now I have some homework and stuff to do. So bye.
I drove home.
B: so how did it go?
M: just give me a minute. A lot just happened
I got into my room and cried into my pillow. Then my phone rang. It was jughead.
The call
J: hi wanna go pops with Archie and Veronica.
M: maybe later. A lot just happened.
J: oh okay want me to come over?
M: sure why not? My life could use a little cheering up right now.
J: okay.
End call
Jughead pov  
J: guys I'm gonna go...
J: pop can I have a two vanilla milkshakes and two burgers to go please.
P: sure. How is that new girl?
J: Maddy? She's okay I think but I'm going over hers now.
P: you two had an instant connection.
J: I felt it. But it's if she did or not.
P: here is everything you ordered.
Maddy pov
Jughead walked into my room.
J: what happened to you then?
M: oh my gosh you brought food.
J: the finest. Vanilla milkshake and a burger for you.
We sat on my bed.
J: so spill then.
M: my mum was some cold blooded killer who planned to kill me and she threatened to kill me when I was three or something to hiram then when I was ten she told him that she was going to drown me.
J: oh my gosh.
M: so my mum was killed because to properly arrest her they had to bring her back to riverdale. Hiram sent his men to get her one didn't have the safety cap on his gun so shot her. And guess who's my dad?
J: who?
M: Hiram. So I'm a lodge now and I don't want to be but hey. There are bigger problems in the world right now.
J: not in riverdale there aren't.
He hugged me as I ate my burger.
