The next morning
Jughead pov
J: Maddy wake up!
J: MADDY!
Maddy wasn't waking up
I ran downstairs to dad.
J: DAD! Maddy won't wake up!
F: she's fine.
J: seriously what was in the morphine you gave her last night?
F: the doctor said at night mix it with a sleeping tablet.
J: A WHOLE ONE!?
F: yes why?
J: people our age are only meant to have half.
F: oh
J: yes oh! Phone a doctor!
F: she will wake up eventually.
J: fine.
M: there's blood on me.
She half shouted from the top of the staircase.
F: her neck!
I ran upstairs and the dressing from her neck came off.
My mum grabbed a new dressing and wrapped it up again. While my dad dosed her up on morphine. There was a knock at the door.
?: hi is Maddy lodge there?
J: mad. It's for you.
Maddy pov
M: hi.
?: Maddy lodge?
M: that's me.
?: you are being convicted of the attempted murder of hunter Hargreaves. After dealing him drugs and then cutting his throat. You have the right to remain silent as anything you do or say may harm your defence when later relied on in court.
M: I'm sorry you have the wrong person. He cut my throat and dealed me drugs. He is the one who should be going to prison. I haven't done anything.
they cuffed me and took me to the car.
I haven't done anything.
M: I want my lawyer now
They took me to the sheriff's office.
They put me in the cell.
Luckily fp was there.
M: you have to believe me. I haven't done anything.
F: Maddy I believe you. And I'm getting you out of here.
M: please do it quick. It's my birthday.
F: Jughead's on his way here now.
M: I bet Hiram is behind this.
F: probably.
M: I don't know what I've done.
F: no you haven't done anything.
J: we are gonna get you out Maddy!
M: I'm fine.
