1 week later
I woke up and walked downstairs. Jughead was no where to be seen. I was half tired and still on a shit ton of morphine mixed with a kilogram of anti depressants and some fizzle rocks here and there.
M: where's Jughead?
I said drowsily
G: we don't know.
F: Gladys! We agreed not to tell Maddy
Suddenly all the drowsiness went away. In that moment all I cared about was where jug was.
M: I know people. On the south side possibly who could help locate him. I'll find him in no time. I need a knife.
F: why!
M: what am I going to threaten them with?
G: that's ma girl.
F: fine grab one!
I grabbed it. Ran upstairs and got changed. Ran to my car and drove to the whyte wyrm. I walked in. Time for badass mode.
I pulled the knife out of my pocket.
M: as from now I am holding you all hostage!
?: please she's a girl.
M: watch me.
I walked up to him and ran my knife gently across his throat.
?: okay stop!
?1: who are you anyway?
?2: she's the king's girl!
M: that I am. So unless one of you can give me the slightest clue to where my man might be. I'll kill all of you!
There was about 5 mins of silence when someone spoke up.
?: penny peabody. He told me he was going with penny Peabody. He said somssething about limb for a limb, eyed for an eye.
M: if what you have told me is correct. I will not be back here again. UNDERSTAND!
All: yes!
I went to my car and drove home.
M: someone at the wyrm said that he said something about penny Peabody
F: penny! Come on in the car we are getting Jughead!
5 hours later  
My phone started ringing.
The call  
M: hello? Jug?
J: maddy I'm so glad to hear your voice.
M: where are you? We've been searching for the last five hours.
J: I can't tell you where I am because you'll try to stop me.
M: WHAT ARE YOU DOING!
J: maddy you'll try to stop me.
M: but I love you! I care about you!
7 hours later
We were still looking everywhere when I saw a gang.
M:over there maybe!
It was dark now and I waited outside this alleyway where the gang were. Fp went through it. He walked out. Looking like he was crying, he was carrying Jughead in his arms. Jug was unconscious. I didn't know what to do.
M: is h-he breathing?
Fp just looked at me in despair
M: no! He has to be breathing!
F: Maddy -
M: no! He's not dead!!! Get him in the car. I'll do cpr!
F: maddy I -
M: no get him in the car.
F: fine but you need to accept-
M: just do it!
He put him in the back of the car and I performed cpr.
1,2,3 press 1,2,3 press, blow 1,2,3 press 1,2,3 press, blow. I put my ear up to his mouth while tears were brimming my eyes. I felt some comfort as I could hear faint breaths.
M: oh my gosh!
G: what!
M: he's alive!!!!
1,2,3 press 1,2,3 press , blow.
The breaths were getting louder. Finally I could calm down. Jug wasn't conscious but at least I knew that he was alive.
F: we are here!
I carried him in and some paramedics took him from my arms and put him on a bed. They wheeled him away. My phone started ringing.
The call
M: hello?
A: Maddy! I heard what happened are you okay? Have you found him.
M: we found him and he's alive barely but we are at the hospital now. Can we meet at pops. Just us. I could use a shoulder to cry on right now.
A: sure. Want me to pick you up?
M: if you wouldn't mind.
A: okay see you in 10.
End call  
M: how long do you think he will be in surgery for?
F: about 2 hours why?
M: I'm gonna go pops with Archie for like half an hour if that's okay.
F: it's fine Maddy. You could use a little bit of headspace.
M: thank you.
I stood outside and saw Archie pull up in his dad's car. He got out and embraced me in a hug.
M: I don't know what to do arch! We were looking for 7 hours and we found him. He wasn't breathing. I performed cpr and managed to get him back to life but I don't know if he'll die in this operation they're doing to him. I am gonna kill penny Peabody! With my own bare hands I will beat her to the ground and crush every bone in her body! I want her to die!!! I want her to know the pain she has caused me!
A: I know the feeling. But killing someone won't make it any better.
Jughead pov
I walked into a house and heard Maddy's voice.
M: look Delilah! Daddy's home!
D: daddy!
J: Maddy?
M: yes jug?
I looked at her hand and there was a ring on it. An engagement ring.
J: who is this?
M: Delilah. Don't be silly. She is our beautiful daughter.
J: oh yeah.
I didn't have a clue in the slightest what she was on about. Suddenly it all changed and I was outside the same house. I walked in and heard shouting from inside.
D: where's daddy?
M: I DONT KNOW! MAYBE HE DOESNT LOVE MUMMY ANYMORE.
D: but mummy you said-
M: yes! I know what I said! Daddy will always love mummy and mummy will always love him! So shut up and stop crying!
It all changed again.
I was in a forest. There were people playing g and g. Hiram lodge and Maddy and Veronica.
H: pick a chalice Maddy.
M: this one!
She drank it and dropped dead on the floor.
Maddy pov
Me and Archie arrived at pops and sat in a booth. I couldn't stop myself from crying. I was so scared.
A: it's all going to be okay. Eventually we can all live a normal life. No black hood. No gargoyle king. No farm. Just a normal life.
M: not in riverdale! That never happens
P: can I get you two anything?
Pop asked.
M: please may I have a vanilla milkshake and a burger and chilli fries.
P: of course you can Maddy. What would you like to eat Archie?
A: I'll have the same as Maddy but with a strawberry milkshake.
M: can I pay later I forgot my money.
P: on the house. You look like you need it.
M: thank you so much pop.
P: it's fine Madame.
I blew a kiss to him and he walked away.
A: you look tired.
M: I am but I couldnt sleep.
A: so am I taking you back to the hospital after this.
M: if it's okay can we go to my house first I want to grab a couple things before I go back to the hospital.
A: absolutely.
We chatted for like 20 mins then we went to the house and I grabbed two outfits. One for me and one for jug. I grabbed an oversized jumper and shoved it all into my back pack. I put my headphones in there. Some iPhone chargers and some food. I jumped back in Archie's car and we drove back to the hospital.
Jughead pov  
I was walking through a tunnel . And all of a sudden I saw Maddy, Archie, Veronica and Betty.
M: who do you love more?
A: pick
V: one
B: and
M: then whoever you
A: don't
V: pick
B: DIES!
J: I can't pick! It's impossible!!!
M: do
A: it.
J: then I have to pick....
J: Maddy.
A; Jughead! Why!!!
B: HELP!
V: why Jughead?! Why?!
They all dropped dead there and then. Then Maddy ran into my arms.
M: don't die. I love you. I've got everything here for you so we can go home.
Somehow I didn't think this was coming from my horrible trance.
All of a sudden it felt like I was being dragged up into the air then I wa thrown onto a bed. It looked like I was in a hospital.
Maddy pov.
I was sat in jug's room when Gladys said.
G:i think we are going to go home. Get some sleep.
F: yeah. You have got this. Haven't you.
M: yes of course.
They left. I had jughead's stupid beanie in my bag so I plonked it on his head.
He slowly started opening his eyes. I didn't think much of it and just started talking.
M: god I love you. Please don't die on me. I think I might have to die as well. If you die I don't know what I would do. Archie said he would be there for me but he can say something and then not follow through with it. I don't know what to do anymore. If I died everything would be easier. If I just died.
J: n-no it wouldn't.
M: oh my gosh. You're like Jesus!
J: shut up.

M: the what?
J: yes it is.
He gave me a shut up and let me do the talking look.
N: okay. We are just gonna take you for five minutes to clean up this and by the time I'm done it will look like nothing happened.
J: okay.
They took him away.
I text fp again.

The nurse wheeled him back in. And she was right. He did look as handsome and cute as he did before.
J: you stole my hoodie.
M: I was cold.
J: fine just as it's you Maddy lodge.
M: I brought us some food.
My phone started ringing. It was Veronica.
The call
V: hi. You okay?
M: now I am yeah.
V: so bitch. Why you been stealing my man?
M: umm? I don't understand
V: Archie cancelled plans for tonight because he had to go to pops with you.
M: yeah because jug is in hospital. Currently on life support!
V: oh shit I'm so sorry.
M: it's fine you didn't realise and I wasn't stealing Archie and nothing happened we just ate food and drank milkshakes. And I cried into his shoulder a lot. So there might be like my whole face on his jacket.
V: I'll make sure he washes it.
M: okay love you!
V: love you.

J: so speak up. You and Archie?
M: first off all can we talk about the fact that I saved your life. By doing amateur cpr
J: so let me get this straight. You don't know how to do cpr and you did it on me?
M: I saw it on bay watch actually. And yes I saved your life.
J: wow. That's what I love about you. I wasn't even breathing and you saw something on tv and managed to successfully perform it on me.
M: well I wasn't exactly gonna go. Oh well he's dead.
J: well obviously not but like.
M; I screamed st your dad so it was worth it.
J: I need to ask why you screamed at him. I wish I could have seen this.
M: he wouldn't put you in the car.
J: fair enough. Come lay with me.
I layed on the bed and we fell asleep.
