FIVE WAS HAVING REGRETS. When he teleported into the woods after El and Levi disappeared he regretted not staying and helping Dustin cope with the loss.

Five knew Dustin and Levi's obvious feelings for each other and he also knew that Twelve would've wanted him to protect Dustin and help him heal, but instead, he ran...well teleported.

He was now in the woods, walking around aimlessly. He had been walking for hours, just looking down at the ground in thought. He knew he had to go into hiding, the bad men could have still been looking for them, who knew? So he hid in plain sight. He'd walk through the woods, sometimes teleporting to a grocery store to steal food then maybe teleport to make sure Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and now Will were all safe. He had it all planned out.

But what happened next wasn't part of the plan.

"Five?" A voice whispered harshly, causing the boy to tense and slowly turn around where Hopper stood holding two bowls, some waffles, and a pudding cup.

"What are you doing here? The boys told me you disappeared. What happened?"

Five sighed and followed Hopper as the man walked, asking him questions.

"After El and Levi...I had to get out. It was too much. And I know I should have stayed--"

"It was a smart move, kid," Hopper stated, glancing at the short boy next to him.

"R-really?" Five stuttered, clearing his throat. Five never really stuttered like that, he was always really confident. But for some reason, he felt safe to be vulnerable around Hopper.

"Yeah." Hopper mumbled as he stopped causing Five to grow confused.

Five watched in curiosity as Hopper crouched down, moving various leaves revealing a wooden box. Hopper lifted up the lid putting in the food he brought inside.

"You think they're still out there." Five said, clenching his jaw.

"Yup."

"You didn't see it, Hop, they disappeared into thin air. They might not be out there."

"Have hope, kid."

Five scowled at the man in front of him as they started walking somewhere. "You don't seem like the person to have hope."

"You don't know me."

Five stopped, watching Hopper walk away. Five looked the man over, trying to figure him out. Five glanced at the man's wrist, seeing three different colored bracelets, one blue, one purple, and one red.

Hopper turned around, "You coming, kid?"

Five furrowed his brows, "Where? I'm supposed to be in hiding."

Hopper rolled his eyes, "Let's go!"
