THE RAIN was the only sound filling the silence in the boys' room as they sat on their beds. The two boys had gone back to the cabin while Eleven went over to Max's for another sleepover, and of course, respecting Max's stepdad's orders the boys went home.

Five could tell something was still wrong with Twelve, he understood why the boy was so quiet. Even though they saw Heather safe, something still didn't feel right. Especially with Billy.

The whole situation was wrong, ever since Twelve came clean about everything the boys had taken things into their own hands and tried to piece things together, starting with the winter snowball dance.

Levi had finally confessed to what he had seen on the night of the dance, Five knew something had happened that night but didn't know what exactly. And he was slowly figuring out what might have happened.

Both of the boys snapped their heads when they heard the cabin door slam open followed by a frantic voice.

"Joyce!" Five exclaimed both of the boys walking out of their room confusion on their faces as they see a frantic Joyce running around the cabin.

"Boys! Could you try and help me?" Joyce questioned, sending the boys a pleading look.

The two glanced at each other before nodding at the woman, following her outside, seeing Hopper's van. Joyce opened the back door, Five gaped, "What the hell happened?!"

"I'll explain it when we get him inside." Joyce sighed.

Five shook his head gently nudging the woman away putting his hand on Hopper's nearest body part which was his ankle and teleported them into the cabin.

Levi closed the car door and grabbed Joyce's hand leading her to the cabin, the boy ran to help Five as he struggled with putting Hopper on the couch.

Joyce explained how she thought something was going on, from the power outage and the magnets falling from her fridge from the big dude who beat up Hopper.

Five nodded along with everything the woman told him, using this to what they knew. Five even explained some of the things they had been experiencing.

"Now that you know. How about you boy's go to sleep, it's getting late." Joyce smiled softly at the boys, giving the boy's kisses on the foreheads, making Five's stomach clench.

"What about Hop?" Levi asked, looking at the man on the couch sadly, taking in his beaten figure.

"I got him. You two get rest." Joyce nudged them in the direction of their room with a sigh.

Five and Levi both lied in their beds after they got ready, facing each other.

"What do you think, T?" Five questioned, wiggling to get comfortable under the covers.
