THE NEXT DAY, Levi woke up with a sigh, glancing across the room, seeing Five sprawled out on his bed, asleep with a book lying across his stomach.

Twelve got up quietly, walking over to the boy's bed. Picking up the book, making sure to mark where Five left off, putting the book on the small table in between the two beds.

Twelve brushed the boy's hair back, smiling softly at the peaceful look his friend had. Twelve only saw Five relaxed while sleeping and that caused the boy to sigh in sadness. Levi grabbed the throw blanket off the edge of the twin-sized bed, lightly laying it on top of the green-eyed boy, before grabbing Ben and walking out their shared room.

He walked into the living room placing Ben on the couch, already seeing Six sitting there, "Good morning, sleeping beauty." Six smirked, leaning back taking in the boys' tousled appearance.

Levi glared at the ghost, lifting his hands to flatten his bed head, causing Six to chuckle fondly. "Hello, meanie."

Levi turned his head as he hears something in the kitchen. Levi smiled as he sees Hopper, said man turning around with a frown.

"Are you still mad at me?" Jim asked, looking down at the boy as he walks up to the man.

"No." Twelve said, shaking his head, the older man releasing a sigh of relief. "You're busy. Busy, okay. Sad, but okay."

Hopper let out a sharp breath when Levi wrapped his arms around the man tightly, Jim slowly returning the hug with a faint smile. Levi let go of the man, smiling widely before running to the bathroom.

Once Twelve came out ready for the day, he grabbed Ben and ran happily to the kitchen, knowing that Hopper was gonna let him make the famous meal to win El over.

Twelve let out a quiet sound of excitement when he sees Hopper laying out a bunch of sweets onto the kitchen counter.

"Ready, kid?"

Twelve nodded, putting Ben on the counter before helping Hopper make the best quad- deck extravaganza. Hopper put a plate of four waffles near Twelve, letting the kid do his 'magic' while Jim watches in amusement.

Twelve leaned back examining it, smiling in satisfaction at Hopper who chuckles, ruffling the young boy's hair, before going to talk to Eleven as Twelve makes himself a glass of chocolate milk if you haven't noticed, he loves chocolate.

After a few minutes, Five came out of their room with Hopper and a glaring El trotting behind, before she sees the plate on the table and her eyes lit up.

Levi sat on the chair, drinking his milk as the group walks-in taking their regular seats while Five and Twelve share a glance as an awkward silence filled the air.

Hopper sighed and started cutting the stack of whipped cream and candy covered waffles before the kids and himself dug in.

"It's good right?" Hopper asked, looking towards a silent El while taking a bite of his waffle.
