Chapter 3

Where am I?

I opened my eyes but quickly shut it back. The lights sting my eyes and my head was spinning as if I was riding a roller coaster.

"You are awake", a feminine voice spoke beside me, I slowly open my eyes trying to recall what really happened to me.

"What happens?", I steadily push my body up to sit up.

I take my time to be adjusted to the lightning, white. I am laying on a white bed surrounded by white walls.

Heaven?

"The Nurse's Room, to be more exact", the voice continued, I look at the direction of the voice and see Ahn. Ahn worked as the nurse, at the same time she is also the counselor of the school. Which means she takes care of the student both mentally and physically.

"You fainted during your Literature Class", she taked a seat at the foot of the bed and passed me some pills and a glass of water

"I have both good and bad news to inform you", she announced.

"The good news is you are excuses for the rest of your class", I swallowed the pill and take a sip of the water.

"Bad news, Suho carried you all the way from your class to this room.", Nurse Ahn stared at me with an unknowing look.

"I went through your profile document, and it appears that you are new here. Am I right?", I nodded my head, looking down at my hands that were gripping the empty glass rather too hard.

"Did the office staff inform you about-", 

"Yes, everyone. The student who sits beside me during the first day of my class. The boy who happens to be my locker neighbor. The girl who suddenly sits beside me at the canteen. My literature teacher who personally asked me to meet her at her office. They told-. They warned me about them.", I paused.

"What will happen to me?", I covered my face with my palms as I felt the urged to cry started to build up.

"Kartily was admitted to the hospital because she accidentally ate a sandwich that contains peanuts which she is alleged too and Hyun Ju Jin had a minor accident at Thailand when she tried to stand on a rock to pose for her Instagram photos and end up falling, dislocated her shoulder.", Rachel explain. 

We are seating inside a white Chevrolet Starcraft Van that had been sent to pick us up from the airport. 

"The boss thinks it is better for both of you to replace their place since you are familiar with this country.", Rachel added as I look outside the window. I miss Korea and this place did change a lot. It is still as beautiful as I remembered 5 years ago.

"I have done some research as soon as we get inside this van, seemingly every magazine that has both of your faces on were sold out every single time it was sold here in Korea and this can actually answer your situation back at the airport.", Rachel continued, she claims here hands together looking at us with a huge grin.

"I had fun!", Hyemi squealed, of course, she did. She dragged me to the center of the crowd giving out autographs and selfies together. I had fun too, but the feelings of being surrounded by fans that keep on touching you and shouting make me feel vulnerable and scared.

"I know you will", Rachel grinned while using her IPad on her hand.

"We will be arriving in a few minutes, right after that, we need to go down for business. The assistant for this photoshoot session had prepared all of us a room to stay for a night and unlimited meals for these two days and one night workshop. Tomorrow night, we need to travel back to New York City.", Rachel stated. Hyemi grunts and keep on complaining about wanting to visit her parents before going back to New York City.
