[ The sound of screams fill the air as a highlight reel plays on TV. Wang He Di just managed to make Blue Shark's Yan Cheng Xu lose his footing and kneel on the ground as he jumped back for a fade away. Shen Yue looks on with the slightest hint of a smirk – her very first sign of life. ]
Shen Yue : [ helps up her Captain ] I think I'll take it from here.
Yan Cheng Xu : [ dusts himself ] You've seen what you needed to see?
Shen Yue : [ nods ]
[ Yan Cheng Xu clasps her shoulders. ]
He Jiong : It finally seems that two of the best point guards in the league are finally going head to head.
Wang Jiaer : I can't say I haven't been waiting for this.
He Jiong : After that ankle breaker and fade away shot, Captain Yan Cheng Xu must be thinking that he cannot afford any more misses.
Wang Jiaer : I just need to take note to everyone watching here and at home that THAT shot is one of the most difficult shots to do. A fadeaway after an ankle breaker means killer footwork.
He Jiong : Well, Wang He Di has always had killer footwork.
[ Shen Yue attempts the same fade away shot after losing Wang He Di in a crossover. The crowd goes wild. ]
Wang Jiaer : And Shen Yue has just shown she could do the same thing!!! Let's watch that replay!
[ Shen Yue's crossover and fadeaway is replayed and then Wang He Di's is replayed too in a side by side. ]
Wang He Di : [ smirking as he dribbles ] So, you're a mimic.
Shen Yue : [ watched him intensely ] Maybe?
Yan Cheng Xu : [ passing by as he guards Red Dragons' Forward ] She isn't a mimic.
Wang He Di : You are not part of the conversation old man.
Shen Yue : Captain does like to talk.
Wang He Di : And you don't?
Shen Yue : [ tries to steal the ball away from him ]
Wang He Di : [ steps back, dribbles the ball from behind him, steps forward, and runs towards the hoop for a lay-up. He lands and then looks back at Shen Yue. ] Let's see you try to do that.
Yan Cheng Xu : [ picking the ball up from the sideline ] You are going to regret saying that.
Wang He Di : [ groans ] Old man... you are not part of the conversation.
[ For the next five minutes, the crowd is treated to a contest. Everything that Wang He Di does, Shen Yue repeats – albeit putting a twist of her own on it. Lay-up. Three Pointer. Fade Away. Quick Two. Jump Shot. Crossover. Reverse Dribble. Low Dribble. Ankle Breaker. ]
He Jiong : This is starting to look like a basketball clinic.
Wang Jiaer : Everyone is just watching the two of them.
He Jiong : I bet Yan Cheng Xu is having the time of his life.
Wang Jiaer : He has found the perfect match for Wang He Di.
He Jiong : And she's actually showing him off.
[ Shen Yue dribbles as their team now has ball possession. She signals a two and pulls at her jersey. The Red Dragons take a moment before they realize that Yan Cheng Xu has flown up for an alley-oop. ]
He Jiong and Wang Jiaer : BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[ Yan Cheng Xu glides and winks at Wang He Di. ]
Yan Cheng Xu : Bet you didn't see that coming from this old man.
Wang He Di : [ grits his teeth and then lifts his shirt to wipe the sweat from his face. He looks to his teammates and nod subtly. ]

[ The Red Dragons get possession of the ball and as soon as the referee whistles, Wang He Di flies off towards the hoop for an alley-oop of their own. ]
He Jiong : I KNEW IT!!!!!
Wang Jiaer : WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
[ The crowd roars. ]
Wang He Di : [ winks at Yan Cheng Xu ] You were saying Old Man?
Yan Cheng Xu : [ laughs and then reminds him that they now have the ball ]
Shen Yue : [ has possession of the ball and dribbles slowly ]
Wang He Di : [ guards her with a smirk ] Any other tricks Grim Reaper?
Shen Yue : I hate that nickname. [ She stops dribbling and from almost mid court, shoots the ball. ]
Wang He Di : [ finds his eyes widening and then turning towards the hoop as Shen Yue walks off and starts to guard him ]
[ The ball goes in and the score board adds three points to the Blue Sharks. ]

Shen Yue : I was just checking on what you could do. It's my turn now.

The technical terms for the visuals I wanted to present gave me quite a hard time but I do hope you get to see how the court action plays out.
I am a huge basketball fan and I am so happy that DiDi not only plays it, but he plays it really well and with a lot of heart.
This update is for the Dark Knights who I claim shall be Super Penguin League champs next year!
