- Back in Senior High School -
Li Xi Zi knows better than try to stop Wang He Di when he's put his mind into something, but does that ever stop him from trying?
No.
Of course, not.
As though he's been cursed by the fates to forever repeat this loophole of idiocy, he finds himself again locking DiDi's arms to prevent him from running towards the school's back gate.
"Yue can handle them!"
DiDi pushed away, doing his best to free himself of the arm lock. "She's still a girl!"
"A girl with the strength of a gorilla, Di. She can make much quicker work of those idiots than you would."
The other guy stopped struggling. "Just because I haven't punched you or you haven't seen me in a fight does not mean I'm weak, airhead."
Xi Zi inhaled. "I know you're not weak but Yue promised me that if I don't make sure you don't get yourself involved, she's going to break one of my ribs."
That gave DiDi pause.
They both know Yue always follows-through.
She's one of the smallest girls Xi Zi is friends with but the minute her fist hits your face, you wouldn't know it.
Ever since he's known her, she's always been too freakishly strong that Xi Zi entertained thoughts of her possibly being a mutant or humanoid.
DiDi's rich family would probably be able to afford "creating" someone like her.
However, Xi Zi's learned over the years that THAT is just how she is.
Strong.
Fearless.
And she always defended DiDi.
She used to do it behind his back.
But a reputation such as hers would never remain under wraps for so long.
From fighting people because they often slandered or issued threats against rich playboy Wang He Di, Yue started receiving challenges for the mere test of her strength.
She refused all of them.
And now, all these fighters have come to the conclusion that she would only move WHEN DiDi is put in peril.
Xi Zi does not understand it himself but all the blockheads in their school decided to issue a threat against Wang He Di.
"If you don't fight us, we'll hurt Wang He Di in every way possible."
That issued letter could not be more explicit, Xi Zi thought.
And so, Yue talked to him and told him that for this afternoon, he just needs to distract Wang He Di and make sure he gets home safe.
