JUSTIN

"Jasmine, what else do I have on my scheldue for the rest of today?"

I've been super busy with meeting after meeting after Crystal left which I haven't thought about much after the numerous meetings started one after the other which has been good considering how the morning started out with me being a bit distracted because of it. And now as 3 o' clock rolls around I can sense that the busy day is starting to die down but I just called out to Jasmine to make sure and clarify for me.

"Well the only thing you have left for the day is a meeting in about 15 minutes with Professor Sideris and the Principal Mrs Willow of UCLA," she says rushing into my office towards my desk.

"Ah yes," I say with a nod. "Ok that will be all Jasmine."

I expected her to leave straight away after I dismissed her so it surprises me a bit when she is still standing in front of my desk.

"Jasmine I said you could go." I tell her again.

Jasmine looks at me and nods. "Yeah ok."

But she doesn't move and stays standing in front of my desk.

"Then why aren't you leaving?" I ask her.

I study her and can see for the first time since she's been working for me she seems uneasy about something and is fighting against the urge to say something to me I suppose.

"Is there something you would like to say to me Jasmine?"

"Uh yeah...  she says," Then she stops and takes a deep breath before continuing. "Well not really as I really shouldn't be asking you about this but I guess we are already h-."

"Jasmine I don't have all day so please just spit it up." I interrupt her. "Because I do need to get to this interview in 15 minutes and then I would like to go home so please come out with it already."

"Yeah ok,"she says nodding and then sighs before looking me right in the eyes to ask her question. "Sir is this meeting have to do with the women that demanded where you and your office was earlier?"

Jasmine has always been the best secretary to our family company. She been with us ever since my father first opened the business 29 years ago and we really consider her apart of our family given she's been my father's and now my secretary for the past 5 years after my father stepped back and I took his place. I definitely have seen over the many years why my father hired her in the first place with her exceptional secretary skills and not once has she not done what is required from her without putting up a fight - She is truly the definition of what a perfect secretary is and looks like.

But most importantly she always knows when to draw the line when it comes to personal matters which I guess was the primary reason why Jasmine was such a perfect choice to be the secretary of our family business. I definitely understand how important it is to have a secretary or even a work colleague that will mind their own business when it comes to our personal matters with us especially being Forbes - a very well known and prestigious family.

So it definitely has surprised me when she just asked that question so bluntly. It also feels like I misheard her because there's no way the Jasmine I and my family know would ask such a personal question like that.
