When In Paris

To say this past week has been busy would be an understatement with Crystal's graduation and dealing with final preparations for our trip to Paris which is actually tomorrow. And I know it's about to get heaps more busy when we leave for Paris but in a good way.

Well at least I hope so. Because I can't help but be very excited to finally be able to take Crystal to Paris which I can't believe is actually happening tomorrow with it only feeling like yesterday when I first purchased the additional ticket after Camila convinced me to take the opportunity that was right in front of me when in fact a whole week has passed since I had that call with her.

But that conversation with her is still very present in my mind and I will always be grateful to her for making me see such an ample opportunity that eventually I would've seen too but not fast enough to act on it like I have. Which is something I like about our relationship with that being that the other one knows exactly what the other one needs before they do and makes them realise that. Which is exactly the case with Camila knowing Crystal could tag along with me to Paris with her having graduated now with her cosmetology certification and has some time off this summer before she acts on that certification she has now and figures what to do moving forward with her career.

"And what will Crystal be doing while you are away?" Camila asked that day we talked and had our daily catch up on each other's lives which we started when she first moved to Paris after she graduated high school to start her journey in becoming a fashion designer which she is so close to becoming now.

"She will just be relaxing here which she definitely deserves after these past years working her arse off studying to get her cosmetology certification." I said in response. "Why do you ask?"

"Because you have to be so dumb to not see the opportunity right in front of you. You really don't see it do you?"

"No I really don't. What am I not seeing that you are? Please enlighten me dear sister." I said not knowing where she was going with this but also curious to know what opportunity was right in front of me that I wasn't seeing but she was. 

"Dear brother, you should bring Crystal with you to Paris," she said like it was the most obvious thing and I was a bit dumb to not think of it myself. "Isn't that her ultimate dream place to go and has dreamt going there ever since she was young?"

"Yes it is." I answered and it wasn't like the thought of bringing Crystal along hadn't crossed my mind because it did ever since I first heard about this business trip being in Paris but it just didn't feel right to have Crystal come along with me basically spending most of my time there at work and her being all by herself most of that time and I also wanted Crystal's first time ever going there to be focused on just that. Which is what I had expressed to Camila. "I appreciate you pointing that out for me but I want the time she goes to be solely focused on that and with me being over there mostly to do work she will be left alone and I just don't want to do that."

"So leave her with me while you are working or did you forget your dear sister lives in Paris." She pointed out clearly ignoring what I had said and being classic Camila not taking 'no' for an answer.

"No of course not but I didn't want to inconvenience you with all your wedding planning and finishing off Fashion school and graduating."

"Oh as if that would ever be an inconvenience to me," she said with a scoff. "Besides I'm thinking of asking Crystal to be my maid of honour so really she has to come to Paris now."

"Oh I see how it is. You just decided to make Crystal be your maid of honour just so I would say yes to bringing her, right?" I ask her even though I know my sister so well and I know what she is playing at here.
