Reading about history brought me back to the times I had in high school with past teachers. There was so much history to learn that I grew excited with each topic we went over.
The second World War happened to be my favorite topic of any quiz or study session. If I could then I would go on about. I would go on so much that I would start remembering the stories my grandpa had told when me and Steve when we were kids.
I had always grinned at the memory of me talking to my grandpa about his past. It enlightened my mood every time when I would think about joyful memories like that.
"Okay, so," Billy brought his eyebrows together and looked at me, inquisitively.
While he was beginning to think of his question I situated myself on the table of the desk next to his. I had to fix my skirt multiple times as it kept riding up my thighs.
It was that my skirt was too small but it was because I was fidgeting in my seat. I didn't understand the reason why I was moving around so much, but all I knew was that I was getting tired of my form fitting skirt creeping up my legs.
"If the Germans were running the concentration camps all over Europe then how did the German citizens not find out about them until the Americans invaded? It's ridiculous."
I neatly placed my hands in my lap to avoid my skirt from coming up.
"Some were placed in wooded areas nearly a few hundreds of miles away from the nearest town or city. I don't think many citizens explored since they had German troops flooding every place known to man." I briefly explained to him.
He sighed. "Right." He brushed a curl from his forehead. "I'm sorry. You probably think I'm so stupid."
While shaking his head he looked at me with his squinted blue eyes while mine looked at him in sympathy. "No, not at all." I said truthfully. "You're doing better than anyone else I've tutored so far."
"I have a feeling you haven't tutored many people." He said bluntly.
I stifled a laugh. "You're the first one I've had since I graduated from here in seventy eight."
Billy sent me a friendly smile that lasted for a second. "And look at you. You're back here again."
I chuckled at his humor. "Yes, but it's only because I love school."
"But why though?" He questioned and leaned back comfortably in his desk. "Why'd you come back?"
I shrugged. "I like helping others learn and succeed. Something you should be doing by study your notes."
