Maithali. I called out.
Already searching. She said urgently. I'll let you know.
She didn't, i waited restlessly for a week but ahe didn't come back.
"She's gone." I said helplessly.
"The world is a big place." Siddharth consoled. There was a knock on the door and we exchanged looks, misha and kabir were still in dehradun.
Siddharth inhaled and relaxed.
"It's the wolves."
"You told them?" I whisper yelled.
"Pia it has been years, it's time they met you."
"Send them away." I said turning back to the map of dehradun laid out on the table. It was hand drawn by Siddharth and had our key locations mapped out.
"I can't." He said.
"Five minutes." I whispered and he yelled it out to them, i began hiding as much as I could, he rolled his eyes and helped me.
Then i grabbed a perfume and sprayed it on me, I grabbed the his shirt and tore the top three buttons and messed up his hair, a dab of lipstick on the neck, and lowering my neckline. He did not look happy with the last one.
He shook his head and opened the door.
I pretended to fix ny shirt.
Three scary looking men stood outside but they had the sweetest smile on their faces.
"This is Jay khurana," Siddharth said pointing at the tallest one, he over a foot taller than me. I shook his hand.
"Neel Khurana," Neel was slightly taller than jay. "And Kartik khurana." His voice turned weird at t"And this is-" he began.
"Jennifer" I said cutting in, Siddharth didn't react and they didn't comment on the lack of last name. "Wine?" I asked.
"You have that here?" Jay asked looking at the place.
"Oh don't be fooled by the looks, madam here has watched a lot of bollywood movies," Siddharth said putting an arm around my waist, I hid a smirk, he was jealous. "Babe you finished the last bottle a week ago, we still have to get new ones."
I didn't react, the fridge had three full bottles.
"I completely forgot," i said "how about coffee?"
"That would be great, it's cold as hell." It was jay that answered.
Neither of us moved and I gave him a look, he returned it.
"Fine." I huffed leaving for the kitchenette.
"You said you had a clue on Abhay's location." Kartik asked sitting on a stool.
"Not precisly, our informer only told us he was in some kind of cave." I paused working on our coffee.
"Informer?" The brothers chorused.
"He wasn't very keen on having his identity known." Siddharth creepily.
"Okay cave really narrows it down." Jay said sarcastically and I skipped the suger in his coffee in annoyance.
"The coven leader and her mate started looking immediately after he disappeared." Siddharth said and i placed the coffee on the table. He pulled me on his lap as there were no other seats left. I turned red and glared at him. He ignored me and continued, "they couldn't have taken him far." This was news to me.
"That is if they haven't shifted him." Jay said taking a sip of his coffee, i saw him hide a cringe, he looked t his brothers who were enjoying their's.
I gave him a Cheshire cat smile which he returned.
