Blair:
He looked worse than he did a few weeks ago.
"Hey."
"I'm getting fucking sick of these fucking tests."
"Stop cursing."
"Why I'm going to hell either way."
I figured kissing him this note would be the smoothest way to pass it to him but I don't want him to be my first kiss. So I punched it into his mouth. He slipped it under his tongue then spit out blood.
"Fuck was that for?"
"I told you to stop cursing."
"How do you feel today?"
"It would have been just fine if you hadn't come."
"The tests prove that you are a psychopath."
"Really? Well hell."
We started laughing. Allen showed no signs of being a psychopath but the idiot guards didn't know that. He was just a sad boy with a bad past. He was over it for the most part. He was doing better than most. He wasn't completely over everything but in time he would be fine.
"I'll start other tests tomorrow."
The note I gave him had my plan to help him escape. If he didn't follow it to a tee he won't make it out. I stayed up for a couple of days perfecting it. But I doubt we will need it.
Maybe I can convince Elias to let us go on our own. We wouldn't be apart of Lunar so they would get into trouble if we make a mistake. That's a slim chance though. Also, Allen and I can't take them on ourselves. I don't know who else would go with us.
"What's on your mind?"
Aaron stood there with his head tilted.
"Nothing, are you packed?"
"Yeah, I'm leaving soon. Just came to say goodbye and good luck wherever you end up."
"Thanks, I appreciate that."
He gave me a hug and I hugged him back. I recently became his friend. Malcolm and Olive introduced us. He was quiet most of the time. He only spoke when he was spoken to for the most part.
He never fit in really, he was to smart to be cooped up here. He knew that and I did too. He told me he wanted to be a detective and now I only see him as one.
He let go and waved as he left my room. I looked out my window and saw him and Dallas put their things in the car. Dallas was leaving too to become a doctor for Lunar. Lunar doesn't provide the right teachings for that so he has to go to a health school for a few years.
"What you gonna do now, cry?"
I really need to get in the habit of locking my door.
"What do you want Dayan?"
"I-I just wanted to check up on you."
"I'm doing fine."
"Well ok, um so what do you plan on doing today?"
"I don't know."
"Well, you want to go hunting with us?"
"I never killed anything before."
"Oh come on it's like killing a fly."
"I never killed a fly."
"Wait, you really never killed anything?"
"Dayan, leave her alone she obviously doesn't want to come."
"I didn't say I don't want to go. I would rather shoot arrows at targets than kill so take me somewhere I can do that Cole."
"Are you sure you want him to do that I could take you."
"I want to talk to Cole alone."
Dayan grit his teeth then left.
I finished getting ready and went out to the jeep where Cole was waiting. The heater was nice. I took my hand out the glove and squeezed my nose.
"Do you have a runny nose?"
"No my nose is cold."
He smirked as we started moving.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"Why do you act so wired around me? I mean you don't act like this around your girlfriend."
"Girlfriend?"
"Yeah, that girl that used to bully Scarlet with you. You guys are still close...well that's what it seems like."
"She isn't my girlfriend she just follows me around for some reason. She only bullied her because I did."
"Why didn't you tell her to stop."
"I don't know,"
"Why did you bully her?"
"I didn't want her to join Lunar. I thought that if I can make her leave but she's so stubborn."
"Why didn't you want her to join?"
"She kinda reminds me of someone I use to know."
"You never answered my question."
"What question?"
"Why do you act so weird around me?"
"Oh, you remind me of someone."
"Is it the same person?"
"No, I was in love with the girl you remind me of."
"Oh, I thought you said you never had a girlfriend?"
"I don't I loved her but she belonged to someone else."
"Who?"
"Dayan."
"Is that why you guys hate each other?"
"Yeah, we use to be close but she came along. We were naive and obsessed. She picked him over me because he was closer to her age. I hated him for that. He also stopped hanging out with me. I was alone and jealous."
"What happened to her?"
"She left a year ago and left us heartbroken."
"How long was she with him?"
"Seven years."
"So you guys were kids? You guys are still young someone else will come along."
"I know, I don't think he knows though he might think this is a sigh to get with you."
"What about you?"
"Don't you know Scarlet?"
I became hot and uncomfortable. I knew I was blushing but why? I didn't like her or did I?
"No, I don't like her I just..... I don't know."
"Oh well ok."
"Does everyone think that?"
"Almost. Why do you want to use a bow and arrow you know most people use guns."
"Yes I know that I just always used them. They make me feel at home in a way. My foster parents taught me."
"You came from a tribe or something."
"No."
"So you always wanted to use it since you were little."
It was either that or a sword. My foster parents pushed me to use them, I never knew why. They never taught me to use a gun. They said guns were unnecessary. They also said I would need to use a sword soon but I never paid attention to most of it. I wanted to be normal and they weren't normal.
"Something like that."
