"Don't Cry Dear"

Blair:

"How have you been?"

"Maybe death is better. Are you sure Scarlet is still alive?"

"Yes."

"How do you know?"

"I can just fell it."

"Ok weirdo. How do you suppose we get her back?"

"I don't know."

"You don't have a plan yet?"

"It's harder than you think. Helping you escape and us escaping then going somewhere I never been...but you've been."

"I've been but never inside the building."

"Why?"

"Never had to go inside."

"So Joseph was just standing around outside and you thought it was a good idea to go to him."

"It wasn't my idea."

"But you let her."

"I let her" he said in defeat.

He looked confused for a second.

"What is it?"

"It's just everything is fuzzy after I saw that crow."

"Crow?"

"Yeah."

"I remember my stepmother saying something about a crow."

"What she say?"

"That there was one that could possess someone without permission."

"What the hell does that mean?"

"When someone is being possessed its because they either let it happen or they are too weak to stop it I think. But the crow. He can possess anyone, it doesn't matter if you have a strong will or not he can still do it."

"So what the crow was a demon or something?"

"It could have been. Do you belive?"

"Belive?"

"In God?"

"No."

"Oh."

"I mean I did once."

"Why don't you anymore?"

"Why would God let innocent people die?"

"To form people like you. So then you can protect people."

"People like me? Protect? No I'm useless. I couldn't protect my family nor could I protect the people I cared about so much. If God exists it's only to torture people like me maybe for fun."

"He is making you stronger you just haven't realized that yet."

"You and your fucking perfect life. I bet you never knew pain. I bet you never knew how it feel to lose someone."

He was right. I never knew pain. Even when I was hit by a car I didn't feel anything. The people who drove the car died though. I wondered if it was my fault that they died. I was the one who didn't look. I was the one who caused the accident but no one blamed me.

No one I cared about died. Do I really care about anyone? Ever since my family sent me here I stopped caring about them. They said come back but I never did. If they wanted me to they would have never sent me here. No I care about someone. I care about her.

"I might have never felt pain but I feel like I lost Scarlet. I can't see her. I can't hear her so I feel like I lost her."

"Why do you care so much about her? She never mentioned you. I never seen you two talking. So what is it?"
