Murder

Allen:

Once again we failed... I failed. How could I let this happen? Now Trisha is in a coma Jeremy is dead and Scarlet... She is probably dead or being tortured now. We had one chance. Probably our only chance.

Two huge wooden doors opened. I felt all eyes on me. I knew they were all filled with disgust, hatred, or something else. Some of their eyes might not have any emotion at all. I finally looked up at the people who would be judging me. Both Generals, Eva, Jax and two other people I didn't recognize were sitting in front of me. One judge looked like he did this for a living. Hell, I didn't know Lunar had its own court system. I guess it helps prevent any of our failures from getting to the public. We would probably be forced to be shut down if people knew we were dropping like flies here.

This is my second time here the only thing that has changed is that they actually have a Judge this time and that I have handcuffs on. Why do I have them on, I didn't kill anyone. Or maybe I did.

The Judge straightened up and said, "Allen Canter, this is your second time here. It seems as though nothing changed. They gave you a second chance and yet you threw it away."

"He is nothing but a traitor. He might as well work for them."

"Murderer!"

There were five rows on the right and left side of the courtroom. The people behind me were right I led them to their deaths.

"Quiet!"

Elias quieted the room and Duke stood up.

"You are exactly what they say you are. A murderer a-

"I didn't do anything."

I looked at Eva and Jax. Their eyes left mine and went to their father. They weren't going to help me. I knew I couldn't count on that bitch.

"Exactly. Once again you come back without a scratch. Jeremy is dead. Trisha is in a coma and we don't know what condition Scarlet is in. That pathetic bitch is probably dead too."

His words boiled my skin. Did he really not care about her after she gave her life to help save his brothers son.

"And you still didn't accomplish anything. Why did you go?"

"What?"

"Why did you go!?"

"T-to save Joseph."

"Are you sure about that?"

What does he mean?

"Yes."

"I don't think so. I think you wanted this to happen all over again."

"No. No!"

"For all we know you could have done it yourself. "

"I wouldn't do that!"

"Then why did the bullet come from behind them. It was your bullet Allen. Two bullets from your gun were missing."

"No no, I saw him shoot them. I would never do that I swear!"

"No? then why were there bruises on Trisha's body, not from a fall but someone griping her?"

"She was trying to get down she slipped."

"No, she was trying to escape from you!"

Elis entered the conversation and asked, "Why would my son use a sniper rifle? Did he use one to shoot them?"

"No."

"So you did shoot them."

"No."

"Then What happened Allen?!"

"I.... I."

I didn't remember.

Duke cut his brother off and said, "In my eyes and everyone else's you are a murder and you will be treated like one. Put him in a cell somewhere while we figure out his execution date."

"No, listen to me please."

"Take him away."

I froze. I felt tears fall down my face. Everything was quiet. I couldn't even hear myself scream. I lost control of my body. I kicked and tried to crawl out of there but the guards were stronger. I thought I came to terms with dying but now that I know I'll die soon scared me. I guess I am pathic.
