The almost death of Bella Swan

I sat in my usual seat next to Jas and behind Edward as I kept kicking his seat winding him up. He turned round ready to stay something before becoming extremely stiff, I was going to ask what his problem was when I smelt it too, Bella. She had stopped right in front of the fan and her scent was coming directly towards the three of us making us all tense as me and jas were the newest to the diet. "Welcome, Ms. Swan. Follow along as best you can till you get caught up." She then proceed to take the only empty seat in the room, the one right next to Edward. He looked at me with pleading black eyes as the smell got to strong for him with his bloodsinger sitting so close, but what was I meant to do cause me more pain as I tried to hold back from tearing out her throat for some blood. Just as I thought that Edward seemed to stiffen more and I quickly apologised as I had caused his thirst to increase.

Throughout the lesson Edward just stared at Bella and although I tried to tell him to stop with my thoughts he just kept doing it, making her uncomfortable. I was getting used to the smell of her blood but it was clear to see that Jasper wasn't as he was stiff as a board and couldn't move so I just did his work for him, I had done it before anyway the behaviour of planaria.

As soon as the bell rung Edward and Jasper has ran out of the room, I stayed behind for a second to collect Jaspers coat as he had left it and as I was walking out of the room Bella tripped and grazed her knee resulting in a bit off blood. I immediately stiffened right next to the door and felt as if my lungs were going to collapse although I didn't need them. As if sensing something was wrong Emmet walked up to the class with a worried look before noticing my stiff posture in the door and the smell of blood in the class. He quickly got me out of there and into the car before speeding home now that everyone was ready.

"I can't believe I almost lost control over one drop of blood, how stupid can I be and Bella's blood for Christ sake. I can't go back to school Ed I just can't what if I see her and something happens because I smell her blood and can't contain myself again" I rant on to Edward before he comes to the conclusion, "it's fine, we will go off on a hunting trip for a week, just me and you and clear our heads, before going back to school where I can introduce myself to Bella bad you can continue your fantasies of burning it to the ground with your ability" I thought about it for a second before smiling and squeezing him in a hug "it's a deal buddy boy Eddie"
