The short break in Volterra

I was now on my third stay in Volterra since Edward's attempt at death, he was covering for me back home as I happily sunk my teeth into the neck of a human, gulping the warm blood down enjoying the taste I missed so dearly when in Folks. Turning I see Caius sitting in his chair, a book in his lap as he stares at me with a handsome smirk on his face. I wipe the blood away from my lip before moving over to him and picking the book up looking at the cover, "Mortal Instruments-City of Bones, I've read this one did you know that-" My spoiler was cut off as I gasped. I was now sitting on his lap with his hands on my back holding me to him, my legs either side of his, "No spoilers Blake, you know what happened when you spoilt Divergent." I glared at his stupid smirk before kissing him quickly and clicking my fingers making the candles in the room light, dropping us in an orange light.

"See you next time Jane." I said hugging my new best friend close as she smiled at me "See you then Blake, make sure you don't leave it too long this time...oh and remember your contacts!" I laugh quietly putting the golden contacts into my eyes to hide the red iris' as I picked my bag up from the floor.  As I was walking the halls of the volturi castle going towards the doors to leave, a rush of wind blew my brown hair in front of me as I smiled towards my king, "leaving without saying goodbye?" His English accent stopping my movement as I smirk at him, "didn't see the need really...I mean I will be back soon and you always-" My sarcasm was cut short when a pair of lips collided with my own. Lips moving together it was like to puzzle pieces finally completing the jigsaw and as we pulled away I bit his bottom lip softly before turning away, "goodbye for now my king, I will see you very soon." "I should hope so my queen" Was the last thing I heard before pushing the large wooden door open and walking out into the night.

Finally back at home in Forks, I smiled to myself placing another rose into the vase full of roses of three colours red black and white, all given to me by Caius. I sigh petting the head of the small stuffed bat before turning to the door seeing Eddie boy standing looking at me with concerned eyes. "Did you do it whilst I was gone?" Stepping into the room he sits on my bed and picks up my toothless teddy before looking up to me, "Do what, cover for you or ask Bella to marry me?" I raise a slit eyebrow at him with an offended look as I twirl a rose in my hands, "both". He smiled putting the dragon back in his place among the other teddies before standing, "yes and yes but she said no because she will only marry he if I turn her." As he went to leave I shrugged looking towards him causing him to stop on the doorway, "Then change her Eddie boy". HE shook his head before leaving and I flopped down onto my bed in the sea of stuffed animals.

(Authors Note- I know I have not updated in a while but we are finally onto Eclipse!!! There will be lots of visits to Italy and lots of new friendships.There will also be a whole lot more Caius so be ready for that. This chapter is shorter then the rest but that is only because I did not want to put too many scenes into one. Remember to Vote and Comment.)
