My Best Friend...Married

Music filled the woods as we all stood awaiting the bride. I looked over to Edward and smiled at  him in reassurance before looking back to see Bella and Charlie at the end of the aisle, her hand wrapped around her fathers arm as she stared forward at her awaiting fiancé. Edward's smile grew as his golden eyes landed on his bride, her dress tight to her body but still flowing behind her as she walked forward, her hair wrapped beautifully within itself creating a twisted bun that was hidden behind a long veil supported by a sapphire hair comb. 

I smile towards my family and look back to the front were Charlie is handing Bella to Edward. As we all sit I squeeze Caius' hand slightly whilst smiling toward the couple, a small tear of venom forming on the corner of my eye.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, We are here today to witness the union of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. Please repeat after me. I, Edward Cullen" The minister said as the ceremony began, "I, Edward Cullen" came Edward's repetition as he finally started to become officially married. "take you, Bella Swan" "Take you, Bella Swan" "To have and to hold" "to have and to hold" "for better or for worse" came Bella's voice as the couple continued to stare deeply into each other's eyes. "for richer, for poorer." "in sickness and in health." "to love." "to cherish, as long as we both shall live"  "Edward Mason Cullen, Do you take Isabella Marie Swan to be your lawfully wedded wife?" the minister asked as a venom tear finally slid down my cheek, joining the rest in a pool on my chin. "I do." "and do you, Isabella Marie Swan take Edward Mason Cullen to be your lawfully wedded husband?" "I do." A smile filled my face as I heard the two profess their love for each other before joining in their first kiss as a married couple, my best friend was now a married man and I could not be happier for him.

I started to worry for Bella as she must be low on air with how long the two had been kissing but as they broke apart I stood clapping loudly and cheering for the two as Caius laughed slightly and pulled me back down to my seat.

"I will see you soon, my queen." Caius said as he prepared to leave with the rest of the volturi coven that had showed at the wedding. "Can't you stay for one dance?" I ask with bug puppy eyes but he simply shakes his head, tucking a stray piece of hair behind my ear he whispers down to me, "I am sure you will survive and your brother will dance with you for me," I sigh before smiling up at him, "alright, I will see you soon my king." I quickly kiss his cheek before moving away and hugging Jane close to me. "see you soon, ya bitch." I say to her as I pull away and smile toward Dimitri and Alec, "oh yes, I shall see you very soon, ya jerk. Now try not to kill the wolves that are here and have a good time." I laugh slightly before beginning to walk away, "oh I will, and don't worry Jas will keep me away from the muttbrains." 

(Sorry it's such a short chapter, I just wanted the wedding to be in a separate chapter to the afterparty.)
