Back a Lot Sooner Then Expected

I had spent three weeks in Volterra with Caius before I received an urgent call from Folks, Washington. Edward was getting married soon and they needed his best friend back to help plan although Alice had taking control, so here I was, back in Folks sitting on a balcony talking to Eddie bear about how everyone really didn't care about my mate being a volturi king. "I just thought that I would be kicked from the family or something... I don't know it's stupid." He turned slightly with a smirk before looking back out to the rest of our family setting up mossy logs for the ceremony, "It was not stupid Blake, what was stupid was the three week disappearance when you knew I was getting married soon!" I laugh slightly before looking down at the human trying to walk in her heels and failing miserably causing horrible scraping sounds to fill the air. Looking back to the brooding groom to be I sigh patting his shoulder before running downstairs and spooking his bride,

"Bella, you do know your meant to lift your feet, right?" She glared at me with a hand on her heart before smiling and trying to push me away, Alice smiled at the interaction before addressing the clumsy human, "You just have to break them in." "I've been breaking them in, for three days. Can I just go barefoot?" Bella asked causing me to suck in a non existent breath cautious of the outburst that might come from the fashion forward vampire in front of me "No absolutely not." There was a slight pause as I heard Bella take in a breath as if she was already regretting her unasked question, "Just thinking it's a little much, you know? The dress, and the shoes and all of this." As she gestured toward everybody else and finally decided to do my job, moving over to help my metaphorical mother with the flowers leaving the human to be bossed around by my little pixie friend.

I decided to stay at home whilst the two E's and my brother went out for Eddie Boys Stag Do, he had invited me to join him but I decided to stick to tradition, no girls. Instead I spent my night going through my dresses and putting my new photos in some frames ready to hang them on my wall: one of the photos had surprised me when I found it in my room, a photo of myself and Caius about to kiss when in the gardens, his hands around my waist as we looked into each other's eyes, the photo I had discovered had been taken by Felix when he was checking for intruders. The other photo was taken by Aro when I had finally agreed to let Caius drive my baby bike, I was sitting behind him watching him carefully as my arms were wrapped tightly around his waist.

Before I knew It the Sun was in the sky once more causing me to sigh, sipping the last few drops of blood bag blood from my cup and smoothing down my wild hair. I look toward my unneeded bed where my dress lay waiting for me to change into it. A midnight blue, two piece dress with a low cut and off shoulder sleeves. The skirt having pockets and not going below my knees, there was small golden flowers accenting the base of the skirt and the top of my dress, lining the sleeves. For once I wouldn't be wearing a corset, for once I would look normal for my meant to be age. As I picked the dress up a part of me wished that Caius could see me wearing it, that he could attend the wedding of my best friend with me... I also wished my other best friend Meg could be here but she was in London with her own coven.

I stood next to Bella's dress admiring the fabric work as Alice berated her for not getting any beauty sleep. I only turned toward the posy of girls when Rose walked into the room kindly offering to do Bella's hair for her. "Do you need some help, I can do her hair." Rosalie asked as I dropped the dress and looked over at the blonde with a raised eyebrow, "Really?!" myself and Bella say at the same time causing me to smirk into the mirror at the human before sitting down and finishing off my book letting the beauty guru's sort the bride. "please, I'm not offended by your choice of groom." Rosalie said to Bella as she started to work on her hair, "Just my blatant lack of respect for mortality." Bella replied causing me to laugh into my book and for the two vampires to turn and glare at me. I took that as a sign to leave so quickly stood and gestured to the door before hurrying out, being careful with my speed as Bella's parents were coming up the stairs.

"are those graduation caps?" I hear Charlie say as I pass so I stop and look down at him with a smile, "Charlie nice to see you, also yes they are we found most of them in charity shops but our graduation caps are in there as well, now I must be going... I have a wedding to get ready for." And with that I go into my room to see my blue two piece dress laid out ready for me.

As I was greeting the Denali's with Esme, I was nudged in the side by her causing me to give her a quizzical stare before seeing who she was pointing towards. Caius stood with his two brothers, Jane, Alec, Dimitri and Felix. A big smile took control of my face as I excused myself and  walked towards them as quickly as I could in my heels. When I reached the small group I was pulled into a hug from Caius, his scent evading my senses as I was instantly calmed in a way that my brother's powers could never cause. Pulling out of the hug I smiled towards Jane and the others before looking back to the main three Volturi coven members. "what are you doing here, I don't remember Alice sending the Volturi an invitation?" My boyfriend smiled as Aro answered me, "she wanted it to be a surprise, you were not allowed to know." I shook my head slightly before leading them to their seats, the second row on Edward's side apart from Caius who sat next to me on the front row.

As we sat down he leaned toward me and spoke in a hushed voice, "that dress makes you look beautiful, and don't worry to me you are beautiful everyday, my queen" I smile at him before putting my hand in his and looking towards Edward with a smile.
