The smells around us would be mouthwatering to a human and it just made me wish that I could still be like that, until I realised that I would of never lived to get this type of food. The sound of the car pulling up snapped me out of my daydream as I stood next to Rose awaiting the human.
"It's... wonderful." We could hear the slight chuckle from Edward "You expected turrets, dungeons and moats?" "No... not moats." Then we heard the door open so I moved closer to Jas as we both sucked in a breath to resist the temptation of blood as we were both the newest vegetarians.
Time for introductions, Esme was first to speak being the most comfortable with new people "Bella. We're making Italiano for you." "This is Esme, my mother for all intents and purposes." "Bon giorno?" Bella stepped forward seemingly gaining more confidence and myself and Jas both stiffened slightly, "Molto bene!" Esme replies before Carlisle introduced himself "You've given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time." "I hope you're hungry." "Oh, absolutely" came Bella's reply before Eddie royally screwed things up with 3 simple words "She already ate."
The next thing we new glass had shattered on the floor and salad leaves had exploded. "Perfect" was all we heard from Roses gritted teeth before I burst into a fit of giggles.
We had now moved into the sitting room, well they had I had went outside to get a break from the smell of Bella's blood. After 10 minutes I went back in with Alice and Jas as we made our formal introduction to Bella, even though she already knew me as I was her boyfriends bestie. "Hi, Bella!" came Alices voice as myself and Jas stood to the side together, "I'm Alice. You do smell good." Eddie glared at her before giving her a short warning "Alice." "It's alright, Bella and I are going to be great friends." Bella noticed me and Jas off at the side and approached us with her hand out to shake "And you're Jasper and Blake, right?" "Pleasure to meet you." Came Jas's strained response as he shuffled away from Bella's hand. "It's okay Jas, we won't hurt her" I calm him down and then turn to introduce myself "Hi, I'm Blake but you already know that since I'm Eddie boys Best friend for forever and yes that is his nickname"
