The Battle and my Secret's Revealed

We all stood waiting for the newborns to show up, I could hear them coming closer, the leaves crunching under their feet as they ran. I stood next to Rose and we all looked out, my power pushed deep inside of me allowing it to be a surprise for the end, only to be used when we truly needed. We ran seeing the first newborns breaking through the shrubbery. Porcelain faces smashed into tiny pieces as punches were thrown, the glittering dust flying through the air around me as more vampires ran toward us. There was so many I was beginning to feel as if we were overpowered when the fleaballs jumped into the small field. Newborns flew through the air, some snapping in half as the wolves pounced. 

Esme and Carlisle double teamed the army, both getting their fair share of kills to their name, as I swung around punching yet another man in the face I spotted the wolf that followed Bella around with a newborn in its jaw. My leg went up as I swung kicking the head off of another competitor. Everyone was busy fighting their own groups of newborns, the wolves helping them. Nobody noticed the increasing hoard that surrounded me, blocking me from movement until I let out a scream, dropping to my knees as a ring of fire blasted around me, the power wiping the group out, turning them to ash in an instant. I pulled my hair back from my face stopping as the wind blew past me and I turned thrusting my hand out and sending an arrow of fire into the unbeating heart of a newborn. A smirk grew on my face as I kept firing arrows of orange and red into the porcelain army, their movements erratic as they tried to escape but a simple whistle from my lips caused the arrows to change direction, tracking their opponent until they burst into a pile of smouldering ash. 

I smirked towards my family as I moved into the middle of the field gesturing for them to hide in the trees. They nodded slightly as I watched the remaining newborns, withering on the floor due to their lost limbs. I clicked my heels together three times whispering to myself as I tried to contain my laughter, "there's no place like home... there's no place like home... there's no place like home." The remaining corpses on the field set alight as I used the flames to drag them all together into a huddle. Alice froze before looking toward me, "their coming, the Volturi." My head snapped up at this as I stared into the forest in wonder, would he be here?

We all gathered around the blazing fire as Edward and Bella approached us, "how long?" "a few minutes. Maybe ten?" Alice answered before Carlisle looked back toward the wolves, "the pack needs to leave, the Volturi won't honour a truce with the werewolves" I looked to him in question, an eyebrow raised as the rest of the coven dealt with the commotion behind us, a vampire who had escaped my flames and the werewolves being attacked, "truce... Carlisle what do you mean truce? I will not have a truce with these mutts!" A sickening crunch filled the air as Carlisle was about to answer, "JACOB!" Bella screamed as Carlisle ran toward the injured wolf. I glanced back toward them before looking to the four cloaked individuals. Jane, Alec, Dimitri and Felix walked towards us slowly as I grinned happy to see them again but stayed in my spot, not wanting to make everyone aware of my alliance with the group. 

"Impressive." Jane spoke glancing to the fire and the scorch marks on the floor before smirking at me, Dimitri threw me a wink as I tried to stifle my laughter facing away from my flirtatious friend, Caius would have his head if he heard about this. "I've never seen a coven escape an assault of this magnitude intact, but I guess you have Blake to thank for that." "We were lucky." Carlisle said before Jane spoke again, her red eyes shining brightly in contrast to her dark eye makeup, "I doubt that." "It appears we missed an entertaining fight." Alec spoke his gaze directed at me, "yes, it's not often we're rendered unnecessary." Edward spoke next trying to anger the blonde girl in front of us,  "If you'd arrived a half hour ago, you would have fulfilled your purpose." Jane gave him a small glare before turning into a sarcastic bitch, "Pity." I taught her very well, her eyes drifted along the line of Cullens before they stopped on a girl in the back who I did not recognise, "you missed one." My brother slowly moved toward the girl and stood next to her protectively, I looked at him in confusion before turning back to Jane. 

"We offered her asylum in exchange for her surrender." said Carlisle, causing Jane to tighten her jaw, "that wasn't yours to offer. Why did you come?" Jane asked before the girl fell to the ground screaming in pain, as if she was being put under the Crucio spell by Bellatrix Lestrange. "Who created you?" She asked, not giving her enough time to answer before she was screaming once again. "Jane stop it!" I said as Esme showed her reluctance to the torture happening just behind her, "You don't need to do that. She'll tell you anything you want to know." "I know" Jane said final allowing the mysterious girl to speak, "I don't know!" she said through a series of coughs caused by her pain, "Riley wouldn't tell us. He said our thoughts weren't safe." "Her name was Victoria. Perhaps you knew her" Edward said before he was interrupted by our adopted father, "Edward, if the Volturi had knowledge of Victoria, they would have stopped her. Isn't that right, Jane?" It was silent for a second as Jane looked over to me and saw the look on my face pleading with her to agree, "Of course. Felix." she said causing the bear like Felix to begin to move forward before being stopped as Esme spoke, "She didn't know what she was doing. We'll take responsibility for her." Carlisle stepped forward speaking as I stared into the crackling fire of bodies "Just give her another chance." Big Mistake, Janes glare increased as she spoke allowing Felix to move toward the girl, "The Volturi don't give second chances, keep that in mind. Caius will be interested to know that she's still human and that..." Janes eyes now looked at me as I tensed shaking my head slightly pleading with my eyes for her to shut the fuck up. "... and that his mate has kept such a thing from him." I look at her with a glare before looking back to the fire aware of everyone's eyes on me. "The date is set" Bella said getting the attention away from me.

"take care of that Felix, I'd like to go home. Blake, I do hope you visit again soon." I look down to the ground before sighing allowing the fire to extinguish, "I will be there soon Jane, please tell Caius I miss him dearly and I will be staying for much longer this time." and with that I smile at my best friend before running home and beginning to pack some essentials, a.k.a my teddy bears, photo frames and music collection. 

I had a bad feeling that I would not be in this room for a very long time...
