The vote and the bombshell

We all stood in the kitchen once again, me leaning against a window staring down at my precious motorbike that I had only just gotten back from the woods next to the swan residence, sadly no wolf had touched it meaning my fur coat would have to wait. my thoughts were broken when Bella started to speak, "you all know what I want, and I know how much im asking for", awkwardness crowded the room as Rosalie began shifting on the spot and Esme glanced up at Carlisle, "the only thing I can think of for this to be fair is to just vote" Edward finally spoke up after standing behind his girlfriend "you don't know what your doing" Bella turned telling him to "shut up" as a smirk grew on my face at my best friend being told off and Alice began to giggle a little bit.

 "Alice?" of course Alice would be asked first I mean she is the leader of the pro Bella being a vampire campaign... she made me make buttons!!! "I already consider you as my sister" she said when walking towards Bella for a hug, surprising both me and Jas once again at her control.  "yes" "thank you" "I vote yes" my brothers deep southern accent ran through the room "it would be nice to not want to kill you all the time" I finally stopped looking down at my bike and turned to Bella when nodding my head at Jasper "yeh, what he said" this caused Edward to turn his head at me "Blake really!!!"

 I look at him,dead in the eye and simply reply "yes, really because if you hadn't noticed I have a lot on my mind and its hard enough to control my thirst as it is never mind having more chaos ensue in my mind after the little trip we just took!" after my little outburst the room went quiet again before Rosalie spoke up breaking the tense atmosphere floating between myself and Edward "im sorry, really sorry to both of you for how ive acted, and im really greatful  that you were brave enough to go and save my  brother but this is a life I wouldn't have chosen for myself and I wish that there had been someone to vote no for me, so no"

 Emmet uncrossed his arms and moved closer to Bella "I vote hell yeh" he said before picking her up in a big ol' Emmet style bear hug. "and we can pick a fight with these volturi some other way" that one single world made me flinch and brought jaspers questioning eye onto me but he soon looked away when Esme made her choice "I already consider you a part of the family, yes". 

Carlisle then took a deep breath in even though we all knew he did not need to before he stepped away from Esme and towards Bella and was about to say his choice before he looked up at Edward, who was brooding in the corner, as he spoke  "why are you doing this to me, you know what this means" "you've chosen not to live without her, which leaves me no choice, I wont lose my son" everyone was silent as Edward and Bella left the room before we all went of our separate ways with Jasper following me. 

I knew he wanted to talk so left my door open as I sat on my bed, "what is it big brother?" he took a glance at the door before shutting it and sat down next to me "you flinched when Emmet mentioned the volturi, you even did it there, why, what happened to you in Italy?" looking down I stare at my hands before slowly looking back up at my big brother, "you cant tell anyone , only Alice, Edward and Bella know but if the others find out it would be hell, do you promise you wont say anything, they cant hear us right now due to my soundproofing of the room but do you promise?" he waited before answering and preparing for the bombshell I was about to drop, 

"I finally found my mate, and its a volturi king, Caius Volturi to be precise."
