Chapter 13

Raph's POV

The whole lair was filled with the smell of pancakes, bacon, eggs, and coffee. Chanel and I walked in sync, step for step down the to the kitchen. I couldn't help but smile as I thought of the conversation me and her had just shared. I snuck a glance at her to see a slight smile on her lips. A feeling I've never had before began to fill my chest.

My attention was soon back to the kitchen as the smell of food grew stronger. Chanel and I was still a little distance away from kitchen so I took a moment to take in my surroundings. Mikey was whistling as he placed a plate filled with pancakes on the table, Leo was setting plates, glasses, and silverware in front of each chair, Casey was already sitting at the table with his face buried in his arms, April was getting the milk and the orange juice out of the refrigerator, and Donnie was pouring himself a cup of coffee.

"Good morning love birds."

Mikey giggled at us as we walked in. I felt my checks turn red, first with embarrassment and then with anger. I quickly turned my back on Chanel hoping she wouldn't, before walking past Mikey and giving him a rather rough slap on the head.

"Good morning shell for brains."

Mikey didn't say anything, he just rubbed his head and pouted.

"Raph can you please reframe from hitting Mikey until after we eat?"

April smirked handing me the milk before going to sit down next to Casey.

"I'll do my best red."

I smirked in return, before walking over to the table and poring milk into my glass. Chanel had slowly followed me, I smiled at her before pulling out the chair next to mine for her. She returned the smile before sitting down, my brothers and April gave me a very confused look. I sat down, than Donnie sat down in front of Chanel and Mikey beside of him.

Everyone began putting food on their plate, except for Casey who still hadn't moved. The room was quiet until Chanel let out a few coughs, causing me to tense up.

"I almost forgot to check your vitals and give you medicine." Donnie said standing up from his chair.

"I was hoping you'd forget."

Chanel said giving him a soft grin. Donnie just shook his head and motioned for her to follow, and with a sigh of defeat she did. I watched them as they disappeared into his lab.

"So you guys didn't see anyone last night?"

April asked before taking a bite of her pancakes.

"No we didn't see any Foot, Purple Dragons, or Kraang ."

Leo said taking a sip of his orange juice.

"I wonder why?"

April said staring off into space.

"Maybe they were all having a sleep over together."

Mikey said with a huge smile on his face.

"Yes Mikey that's exactly what they were doing."

Leo said rolling his eyes.

"So were no closer to answers?"

April said while pouring orange juice into Casey's cup, giving him a slight nudge causing him to sit up.

"Not at all."

I said with anger in my voice, taking a big bite out of my pancakes.

"Maybe Chanel will just tell us what she knows."
