Chapter 19

Raph's POV

With a groan I sat down at the kitchen table and tried my best to block out Mikey's singing. My mind was filled with flashes of the night before. A smile crept across my lips as I thought of the way Chanel's brown eyes looked at me,with a spark of adventure, as our lips almost touched.

"Raphie boy! Wake up!"

Mikey yelled as he sat a cup of orange juice in front of me.

"Mikey it's too early for you to be yelling."

"Sorry bro I just love mornings!"

He said as he sat down beside me and took a bite of cold pizza.

"I swear you were dropped on your head."

I took a sip of my orange juice.

"Your just jealous because I'm more awesome than you."

He stuck his tongue out at me. I laughed at him as I grabbed a slice of cold pizza.

"You know little brother you might be right."

I took a big bite of my pizza.

"Well it's good to see you two getting along."

Leo walked in giving us both a smile. I watched him as he grabbed an apple from the bowl on the counter.

"Good morning to you too fearless."

I gave him a nod as he walked past me towards the refrigerator grabbing a water bottle. He jumped up on the counter taking a bite from his apple.

"Hey Leo where's Donnie and Chanel?"

Mikey asked as he leaned back in his chair. I took a quick a glance up at Chanel room.

"Donnie and Chanel didn't go to bed until around 4 or 4:30 this morning. I heard them as they walked past my room this morning."

Leo took a sip of his water, locking his eyes on mine.

"So does that mean no training this morning?"

Mikey jumped up in Leo's face, bouncing up and down in excitement.

"Yes Mikey no training today."

I watched my little brother as he hugged Leo before running to sit in front of the tv.

"So have you kissed her yet?"

Leo smirked at me as he chewed a bit of his apple.

"Why are you asking?"

I looked down at my orange juice.
"Come on Raph I'm your brother. I'm allowed to be curious."

He took another sip of his water. I just chuckled at his response.

"I'll remember that when you find a girl."

He just smiled at me, giving me a look that said ' I already know so tell me'. I let out a sigh.

"No I haven't kissed her yet."

Leo jumped off the counter tossing his apple core away in the trash, with his water bottle in hand he sat down across from me.

"So you haven't told her how you feel yet?"

I gave him a slightly annoyed look.

"No Leo I haven't told her."

I took the last sip of my orange juice.

"Why?"

He raised his brow at me.

"I don't know how."

I lowered my head slightly ashamed.

"Just tell her."

Leo leaned back in his chair.

"It's not that simple Leo."

I pushed myself up from the table turning my back on him.

"It is that simple. You being your stubborn self just make it difficult."

He laughed at me. I turned around quickly and shot him a glare.

"Maybe instead of joking around you could do something helpful, like maybe give me some advice."

A little anger was in my voice as I sit back down in my seat.

"Raph you know her better than anyone else. You know what she likes. Surprise her with something she loves. What is she interested in?"

I thought for a minute about what he said. A smile spread across my lips as I thought of the conversation me and her had awhile back in my room.

"She loves to paint."

He smiled at me and nodded his head.
"There you go."

I smiled at him as I grabbed my t-phone from my belt.

"Thanks for your help fearless."

"Your welcome hot head."

I clicked on one of the only two contacts I had in my phone and put it to my ear and listened to the ringing. After three rings Aprils voice filled my ear

"Hey Raph."

She sounded as if she had just woke up.

"Hey April. Sorry if I woke you up."

I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly.

"No you didn't wake me up, Casey already did that."

She let out a little laugh. I chuckled in return.
"April can you do me a favor?" She yawned slightly.
"Sure. What do you need?" I smiled as I looked up at Chanel's room. I thought of her auburn hair, her big brown eyes, her beautiful smile.

"I need you to pick up some stuff from the art store."
