Chanel's POV

The first thing I noticed when I opened my eyes was how dark the room was, there was no light at all. I tried my best to remember where I was. Slowly I pushed myself up into a sitting position letting my feet hang off the side of the bed. I took in the smell of soap and leather as the bed room door opened, letting light stream in as a figure stepped in through the door way. I watched as the figured flipped on the light switch causing me to shield my eyes.

"Sorry about that I shoulda warned you."

A very familiar Brooklyn accent spoke causing warmth to spread to my chest, causing me to smile. I moved my hand from my face allowing my eyes to adjust to the well lite room.

"Yeah little warning would have been nice."

I smirked up Raphael noticing how different he looked from the last time I saw him. His face was mask-less with a little bit of water running down his face. His arms lacked his leather elbow pads same for his knees, his leather belt was also missing in action. My eyes roamed over his muscular arms as he walked towards what looked to be a table .

"Sorry sleeping beauty."

He smirked at me before grabbing his mask off the table.

"What time is it?"

I asked pulling my hair back out of my face.

"Almost 9:30."

He carefully put his red mask back over his emerald green eyes.

"How long have you been awake?"

I questioned

"About an hour or so, since training this morning."

He said slipping on his elbow pads, then his knee pads. Then he quickly tied his belt back around his waist.

I found my self unable to pull my eyes away from the muscular turtle in front of me. I slowly let my eyes take in every part of him. I was startled from my thoughts when I heard him speak.

"You know it's not polite to stare."

He smirked at me leaning against the wall next to the table. I blushed looking away to try and something else to talk about.

"So this is your room?"

It sound more like a statement then a question.

"No actually it's Mikey's room, I just keep all my stuff in here."

He smirked with sarcasm making me chuckle.

"We'll you have a pretty nice room. But I'd have to say the bed is my favorite part."

I smirked back at him. His cheeks turned a lite shade of red as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"So tell me about yourself Raphael."

I patted on the bed next to me motioning for him to come sit down. He hesitantly sat down next me. He scooted himself back to where his shell was leaning against the wall, I followed his lead sitting close enough that our arms were touching.

"What you wanna know?"

He turned his head to look at me, slight smile on his lips.

"What do you like to do? You know for fun?"

I tilted my head to the side glancing up at his emerald eyes. His face showed no emotion.

"I work out."

He said looking forward at the wall. I let my eyes roam the room landing on a drum set in the corner of the room.

"Come on. You have to like doing something other than working out ."

I nudged his arm. He sighed

"Why are you so curious?"

He looked over at wonder in his eyes.

"Well I usually like to get to know a guy after I sleep in his bed."

I smirked at. He returned it with a chuckle before speaking again.

"How many guys beds have you sleep in?"

Raising his brow out me.

"Yours would be the first."

"Lucky me."

I couldn't help but blush at his comment, the warmth in my chest returning. I turned my attention back to his drum set.

"So your telling me you don't play those?"

I pointed at the drums. He chuckled, dropping his head. He sighed before looking back up shaking his head.

"Yeah I play them from time to time."

"Any chance you would play them for me?"

I nudged him again with my shoulder.

"Maybe some day. I don't usually do a public showing."

He smirked not taking his eyes off the drums. He then turned his vibrant green eyes back to my face a curious look hidden in them.

"What about you princess? What do you like to do for fun."

He playfully nudged me back, but this time he left his arm connected to mine. I raised his an eyebrow at him.

"Princess?"

I gave him a sideways glance

"It suits you."

I laughed lightly.

"You better not call me that in public."

"I make no promises."

He actually gave me a full smile causing my heart to melt, and my cheeks to turn red. I quickly turned my face hoping he wouldn't see.

"Come on princess spill."

He carefully push a piece of my red hair my ear, causing me to turn my attention back to him. Sighing I leaned my head back against the wall, tilting my head to the side to look at him with a slight smile on my face.

"I paint."

I watched him as he quickly turned his head to look at me.

"Wow. Any chance you'd paint me?"

I could help but let out a big laugh after a moment Raph joined me. When we both calmed down I finally spoke.

"Only if you play the drums for me."

I placed my head on his shoulder smiling at him, he placed his green hand on my leg and it was comforting.

"Deal"

Gently he placed his head on top of mine.

And that's how we stayed until we heard Mikey yell that breakfast was ready. Raph patted my leg before standing up and stretching. He offered me his hand helping me off the bed. I couldn't get over the feeling of happiness that filled me, making me forget the sorrow I had felt the night before. The way Raph made me feel-the wholeness he made me feel- made me feel like I was gonna be okay.

I smiled to myself as I followed him out of his room as I thought of the friendships I have gained. I know that today I will have to answer their awaited questions, and today I won't be afraid to tell them what little I know. I looked up to see Raph standing at the door waiting on me with a warm smile, I returned the smile before mumbling under my breath to myself.

"Your going to fine Chanel. Your gonna be just fine."
