Raphs POV

Chanel's chocolate brown eyes looked into mine only for a moment more, before she lowered her eyes almost as if she was ashamed. I could hear Mikey mumbling behind me.

"Is Raph actually being nice?"

I could feel the anger building up inside of me. I turned my head towards him shooting him a warning glance, cutting off his chuckling. I turned my attention back to Chanel, she was soaking wet from the rain, her red hair looked tangled as if she hadn't brushed it in awhile, her clothes were ripped and tattered. Her hand was still gripping mine as if she was afraid I would disappear.

"What are you doing out here this late at night?"

I questioned raising my brow, squeezing her hand slightly hoping to get her attention. She didn't look up though, she just keep her head down.

"She might be in shock from seeing us, which is something she's not supposed to do."

Donnie said stepping out of the shadows.

"We're ninjas Raph we stick to the shadows."

He stated in a grumpy tone which was unlike him. I watched as he looked over Chanel almost as if he was diagnosing her.

"Is she okay?"

I asked impatiently. Donnie ignored the question while reaching over and grabbing her hand from mine. I backed away slightly letting Donnie take my spot. I turned to see Leo with his arms crossed, a slight smirk rested on his lips, and a look that made me feel as if he knew everything I was thinking. Mikey on the other hand had a far away look in eyes and a pleasant smile on his face. My attention turned back to Chanel and Donnie When I heard him speak to her.

"Chanel will you please look at me?"

Donnie said binding down becoming eye level with her. She raised her head ever so slightly, her eyes glanced at Donnie for a moment taking him in. He smiled up at her before speaking again

"Thank you Chanel, my name is Donatello."

He took second to look her over examining her. My patience  was starting to run thin, I crossed my arms and began to tap my foot on the ground.

"Donnie are you gonna answer my question?"

Aggravation clear in my voice, Donnie sighed before standing back up, turning to look at us, a little sadness in his eyes.

"She's been living in the streets for a couple days, 3-4 at the most. My guess is she hasn't eaten for as long as she's been out here, and she's starting to get sick from the cold rain."

He said looking back at her. I turned my attention back to her and found her staring at me. Donnie and Leo were in deep conversation but I no longer cared what they are talking about, I walked my way back over to Chanel. My aggravation replaced with concern as I looked into her eyes, as she took in every part of me.

"Why are you living on the street?"

Tears began to form in her chocolate colored eyes. She began to look everywhere else but at me, she then spoke with what sounded like a bit of anger in her voice.

"I have no where else to go." Her voice was loud enough for all of us to hear. Mikey was right next to me in a flash, his big blue eyes barley holding back tears.

"You mean you don't have a home?" He asked. Chanel simply shook her head, and I couldn't react soon enough to stop Mikey from wrapping her in a huge hug. "Leo can we take her with us?" I turned to see fearless in the same position he was in earlier. Part of me wanted to take her with us to keep her safe, to help her and find out her story. But another part of me didn't want her no where near our home, that part of me had no trust in her what so ever. So that was the part of me that got angry when I heard fearless himself say,

"We can't leave her here, we need to take her with us."
