"So, you could make potions?" Ask Orodion while walking back to the healing room with Ithiliel beside him.
"Yes, I could say that is my specialty." Answered Ithiliel not really focusing on her steps or her surrounding, her mind was filled with what Thranduil just said to her, how could he humiliate her like that? Well, alright he is the king, he has a higher position indeed, but at least can he appreciate her a bit?
"Well if that so, what is your best potion? I know all Limlight's potions are good, but I think you might have your own good and best kind of potion." Asked Orodion staring at her through the side of his eye, he knew she is not paying full attention.
"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" says Ithiliel snapping her attention back to Orodion "Well, I said. What. is. your. best. potion?" answers Orodion a little bit annoyed now.
"Oh, it's uhm the Eithel potion," Ithiliel says a little bit shy, knowing Orodion didn't like her attitude. "Oh? The spring water potion? Are you sure your potion going to work? I know how good Eithel potion is, and I definitely will know if something is wrong with it."
"I'll make one for you first, then you can test it out yourself. But all I can do is to assure you that it is going to work well." spat Ithiliel, she cannot help but feel annoyed with every single elf in this place doubting her ability to brew potions which she has been doing for the past thousand of years.
Raising his eyebrow, Orodion was a bit shocked hearing her tone, he knew then that he must not doubt her this time, the amount of confidence in her tone tells him her dedication with potions. "Alright, how long will you need to brew the potion?"
"A few hours is enough, I'll deliver the potion to you tonight." speak Ithiliel calming her voice down, "Very well," they stop their strides as they reach the door of the well-known healing room. "You can ask all the ingredients to Adriel or Mairwen, they will have anything you need. If you need something else that they cannot afford you can ask for me, I will help you."
With that Orodion leaves Ithiliel alone in front of the huge wooden door. Has Ithiliel heard the right thing? Orodion will help her? Just like that? Ithiliel stares at the fading figure of Orodion, but she then turns and opens the door to start making her best work.
After several hours of collecting, measuring, cutting, mixing, stirring all the ingredients, her potion starts to change its color, from pitch black to warm light green. What Orodion said was right, she did easily get everything she needs, even Mairwen and shy Adriel helps her, they cannot help but be curious. Elves in Mirkwood usually use their magic for medication needs, and they just take in famous potions from the other side of Middle-Earth, including Limlight.
Mairwen and Adriel were fascinated by how Ithiliel focuses on brewing the potion, dedication aura can be felt from her. She did so well with selecting the perfect condition for her ingredients, the perfect amount of it, the perfect techniques, they trust her ability now even though at first, just like Thranduil and Orodion, they doubted her. Brewing potion is a big deal and it takes time as well as efforts of thousand years of practice.
Pouring the green liquid into several small bottles, Ithiliel let out a satisfied sigh. "Is it done? The Eithel potion??" curiously Adriel asks her, she now is more open towards Ithiliel "Oh yes, it is. Both of you can have some if you want. Do not worry, it's going to work." answer Ithiliel with her beautiful warm smile. She could see Mairwen and Adriel share each other a look, they then smile to each other and takes one bottle each from the wooden black desk where the potion has been made.
"Thank you Ithiliel, but I'm still not quite sure what does this potion actually does?" Once again the brownies-haired elleth Adriel asks Ithiliel "Oh, I thought you already know?" with a bit of chuckle then she continues "It will purify your body, it will help to detox the bad things in your body, any sickness, and even bad magic. It also will help you to keep your energy stored longer." Ithilel then receives an 'O' shape mouth from Adriel along with a nod.
