"So it wasn't due to the raccoon, it was due to your lungs. They collapsed again" the doctor said as he looked at me and my family.
This wasn't the first time something like this has happened. I've had problems like this since I was little, but not this bad.
"They aren't supposed to just collapse" my father growled as my mother started crying. Justin came over to me and hugged me. He apologized and said it was a joke this morning. Not an hour after that I collapsed on the kitchen floor.
I couldn't breathe. My body just gave up. My wolf was unresponsive, our body was failing us.
"We are still trying to figure out why it's getting worse," the doctor said as he flipped through his papers. "The nurse will be back to take some more blood for testing," he said before leaving.
"You guys should get to your meetings," I said as I looked at my dad and Max. "I'm not leaving you," Max said as he looked at me. "I'm alright, Justin can watch me," I said as I hugged my twin. Dad sighed, "we keep this quiet, I don't want the other packs finding out about this," my dad said before he told Max they had to go. My mom went to find me something to eat with Bee.
When it was just Justin and I left, I let my walls drop. I let the tears that I had been holding in out.
"It's gonna be okay, I promise. And if your not, then you can have one of my lungs" so laughed as I tried to push him away. Something he had offered since we were 10, hopefully, I wouldn't have to accept.

"Dad I feel fine. If I don't go to this party I will literally be committing social suicide" I said as my brother laughed.
"Dad, what if this is where I find my mate. Dad please" Marley texted me telling me she got invited and was dragging the guys along.
"I'll take Justin and Link with me. If anything happens I will come right here. I even convinced Doctor smith it was a good idea" I told him as I gave him the puppy dog eyes.
"Spencer" he sighed. "Fine, But the boys are taking you home the second they think something isn't right," He said as he looked over to Justin and Link.
Link and I had worked it out. For Justin's sake, and my twin brother was still as clueless as ever.
The nurse came and unattached me from the machines. Justin drove me home. I ran up to my room and hurried to get ready.
I left my hair down in my curls not having time to straighten them. I did a gold eyeshadow with a wing and some red lips. I searched through my closet until I found some black jeans and a lace crop top. Making sure I put on my black bikini under it. There was a pool after all.
I got dressed and started looking for shoes. "Aren't you going to be cold in that" Link asked as they walked into my room. I reached into my closet and grabbed my red vans. "A hoe never gets cold," Justin said. I growled at him as I threw one of my shoes.
"I'm joking," he told me as he caught my shoe. He walked over and handed me it. "Bring a hoodie at least, you can leave it in the truck if you want," my brother said so I grabbed a black cheer hoodie from my closet. I slipped my shoes on and looked at them.
Link was wearing some black ripped jeans, a striped shirt, and a beanie. He looked emo.
Justin, on the other hand, looked like a bad boy. Leather jacket, sunglasses, leather boots.
"You two look stupid," I said as I walked past them out of my room. "Says you," Justin said under his breath.
"Do you guys have your swim stuff?" I asked as I grabbed us towels. They nodded and we headed to the car.
I jumped in the front seat as Link got in the back. "We're picking up Greg" and I couldn't help but sigh. He was clearly a wolf, you can tell just by the way he looks. He's 7'1, with long brown hair and a beard. He usually just has some scruff.
He's one of the guys good friends. He's not the brightest, but he's a good person. Not to mention he's a flirt.
"Hey darling," He said as he got into the car. "Hey Greg," I said as I moved my seat forward so he had lots of legroom. "Why thank you," He said as Link glade at him.
They get along, except for when Greg calls me a pet name or says something to me he doesn't like.
"Keep it in your pants, Greg," Justin said as he started driving to the party. It was on The shared land between Greenwood and our pack the River Valley.
"You don't know me, you don't talk to me," I told the guys as I got out of the car to go in. Justin rolled his eyes and I left.
When I walked into the house basically everyone said hi. "Hey, Princess!" One of the football guys said when he saw me. "The cheerleaders are out at the pool, they are looking for you," He told me. I thanked him then headed out to find the girls.
"Spencer!" The girls yelled when they saw me. I walked over to the pool wall where they all were. I sat at the edge of one of the pool chairs.
"You should get in," they told me. I sighed and looked around. No sign of Carter, but the moon was out. The perfect night.
"I'm gonna get a drink first," I told them when I saw the drink table.
"Here you go darling" Greg said as he handed me a drink as I walked over. "Thank you," I said with a smile. "You think I can hang out with you and the girls, I can't find your brother. He probably went to go hook up with someone, and some needs to watch you" he told me. I rolled my eyes but said yes.
We walked over to the girls and I introduced him. We sat on the edge of the pool as I drank my drink. "What is this?" I asked Greg. "It's fruit punch, I wouldn't give my friends sick little sister alcohol when she's getting blood tested on the daily"
"Don't want alpha John to kill me" he mumbled.
