The Alpha Feud

Carter and I spent the rest of the night getting all the paperwork together. We had our evidence, we had our witness, it was settled.

"So we take it to my pack in the morning?" I questioned and he nodded. "I'll hold a meeting with them as soon as possible," he said. "We should get some sleep," I said as I grabbed Carter's hand. He let me lead him down the hall and up the stairs to our bedroom.

"I love you," He told me.

"I love you too," I told him as I threw off most of my clothes and climbed into bed. Carter did the same and snuggled up to me, spooning me.

"Everything will be better in the morning," he told me. And with that, I fell asleep.

I walked out of the closet as I tied the end of my braid.

"You look gorgeous," Carter told me as he looked me up and down. "Aww we're matching"
I said as I saw his white dress shirt and green pants and jacket. He had on a brown belt and shoes.

"Is the jacket too much?" He asked. "I feel like without it it would be more casual. Also maybe lose the tie" I said as I slipped in my brown heels.

"You are right, as always," he said as he took off the tie and jacket. "Cathrine is our with my grandmother for the day," he told me and I nodded. He looked up at me and smiled.

I walked over to him and kissed him. He pulled away after a couple of seconds and looked at me. "I would like to unofficially officially accept you as the Luna of the Greenwoods" Carter said.

He took a ring out of his pocket, "don't worry I'm not proposing yet" he said as he smirked at me. "Yet" I whispered. "It's a Greenwood family ring, it was my mother's. I would love if you would wear it" he said as he looked at me. "Yes, yes, of course, I will," I said making him put it on me.

"You're a Woods now" he said with a smile.

"Spencer Woods" I said making his smile get bigger. "My partner, my mate, and someday my wife" he said as he stroked my cheek.

He revived a link and his smile was gone.

"They are here" he told me. We headed down to the meeting room his pack was already there.

Marley, Ben, and Andy."Luna" Marley said shocked. I smiled at her as everyone looked over.

"We should tell them ahead of time" Carter said and I nodded. "We are going to end the feud and get Justice for my parents murders" Carter told them.

"Marley, Alonzo might be here"

"Why?" Ben questioned. "Our father is Alpha John" I said. "Our" And said as he looked at me in shock. "Justin, Alonzo, and I are triplets".

"So your gonna be my sister" Marley said with a smile.

"If this goes well" I whispered.

"Guards show them in"  Carter said as he took his seat and I sat next to him.

My entire family and the rest of my pack leaders walked in. "I don't want an alliance, I will not allow you to keep my daughter as your mate" my father said.

"I invited you here to show you the truth" Carter said. "I have the man that killed my parents and your father in custody" Carter told my father. My father leaned back in his chair and looked at Carter.

"Who?" My father asked as my brothers looked at him. "My fathers own brother" Carter said as he slid my father the file. "He wanted power, he didn't get it so he put us against each other. Made each other out to be monsters, and my actions didn't help my packs case"

"If your willing I would like you to reconsider, think about an alliance. For the sake of both your son and daughter" Carter said making me family look at him confused.

"My mate belongs to his pack" Alonzo clarified. "Spencer and I knew all along" Justin whispered making me smile. Max smacked Justin in the back of the head.

"I'll consider" my father said. "With our feud out of the way maybe we can focus our efforts on the rouge problem" Carter told my father.

"I need some time to process this" my dad said as he stood up from the table. My family followed him out and they left.

"That went better than I expected" I told Carter. He nodded as he leaned back in his chair. No emotion, just a blank stare at the door.

"I should go bring my uncle in. Do you wanna watch a movie or something when I get back?" He questioned as we stood up. "Of course" I said giving him a kiss before he left the room with the guys.

"Wanna watch The swan princess in the living room with me?" Marley asked.

"Hell ya" I laughed.

"Stay down" I told Marley as I peaked over the counter. The smell of the rouges has made its way inside. They were on the porch, doing what I had no clue.

Carter still wants home yet. Where was he?

"Link Carter" I told her and she nodded.

I had no idea of Carter had any guns or where he would keep them so I was left with the kitchen knives.

I heard glass break as Marley looked at me. "Run" I mouthed to her when I heard the door open.

She took off running as I threw my first knife. I hit a man in the shoulder, he screamed in pain as the others came at me. I was giving Marley time. My brothers mate was getting out of here.

They grabbed me and started dragging me out of the house. I tried to scream but they covered my mouth.

They hit me over the head and I was out.
