"Spence" Marley yelled as she came running down the hall towards me. The guys following her. I smiled when I saw them. Carter and I locked eyes as they approached.

"You are already affecting each other. How cute. She's probably confused" Ben said from down the hall. The other laughed as they nudged Carter.

"Hey, Marley," I said as they came over to me. "What's up?" She asked. "We have a test first period," I told her and she sighed. "We had our classes switched so we were more with you guys," Andy said as he looked at Marley and I. Like Marley didn't already know.

"Oh cool. Should be fun" I said as I grabbed my books. "We should all get going," I said as I started walking to class. "Spencer!" Parker yelled after me. I stopped, "I'll meet you guys there," I said as Parker ran over to me. Carter didn't seem to like that idea but his friends nudged him to leave.

When I knew they couldn't hear I started talking to Parker. "I'm sorry. You just know how much my games mean to me" he told me as he grabbed my hand. He looked up at me through his long eyelashes.

"It's fine," I said as I pulled my hand away. "Just don't do it again babe," he told me making me laugh.

"I told you I had a family emergency"

"And I told you not to miss a game again"

"Is there a problem here?" Justin asked cutting in. "It's none of your business, man," Parker said. "She's my twin sister, so yes this is my business. And considering your cheating on her, this is really my busses"

"Cheating?" I asked as I looked between them

"I didn't know how to tell you, Spence," Justin said as he sighed. "Parker were done. Go to hell" I walked off to the girl's bathroom and sat there for a while.

I got up off the floor when the bell rang. I walked to class late. The teacher was too busy on her phone she didn't even notice. I walked over and sat next to Marley. "What did he wanna talk to you about?" She asked.

"He was cheating on me," I told her. She went still. "So I broke up with him," I told her. She was about to say something but class started.

When the final bell rang I headed to my car before anyone could talk to me. I drove home and passed out on the couch.

"Spencer, we gotta go now!" Justin yelled at me.

I jumped up from the couch and looked around. "The Greenwood's," My mom told me as she started locking up the house.

I took off towards the door. "Stay with your brothers" my mom yelled. I shifted and took off running, following the scent of the others.

When I found the fighting my brother and mate were circling each other. "Why?" Max asked Carter. "Why do you do this?" Max asked.

"Why do you want to ruin my family?"Max asked Carter.

"What did we ever do to you?" Max asked. "This has nothing to do with your family. It has to do with your pack. You're in the way of my pack growing. My power expanding. My people prospering" Carter said.

His true colors.

A wolf attacked me and threw me to the ground. He tasted my blood as he bit into my shoulder. "Spencer!" Max yelled when he saw me. Carter's wolf stopped at the sound of my name.

"That fucking hurt" I yelled as I kicked the wolf off me. "How would you like it if I did it to you?" I growled as I looked at him. He stood up and growled back at me.

"Mate" Carter said as he looked at me. I could feel my mate's anger as he looked at the wolf. That wolf could feel it too. I turned and looked at Carter.

"Spencer Run!" Max said as he ran at Carter. I took off away from them. I was flying through the trees. The further I got the faster I went.

I made it to the house in minutes. I shifted on the porch and ran to my room. I ran to the shower and started watching off. I had school in an hour. No doubt Carter would be there looking for me.

I got dressed in a yellow crop top and put on a pair of light high waisted shorts. I put on white vans and did my hair. A cat-eye and a golden shadow were all I did to my eyes. Along with a bit of mascara and a pink lipgloss.

I grabbed my bag and headed down to my car. Beatrix was already waiting for me in the car. Playing her favorite band, why don't we.

I pulled out of the Garage and started speeding towards school. When I pulled into the parking lot I saw the Greenwood's sitting in the back of a green pickup truck.

I grabbed a pink brand hoodie and put it on not even realizing the mark on my shoulder from where I got attacked. Other than that there was no sign. So sign I was there. I smelled normal, I looked normal.

Bee got out then I did. I started walking towards the school avoiding people as I did so.

"Spencer"
