As I was sitting there listening to the choir sing amazing Grace and then listening to pastor Ken give the introduce to the services and then as Ashlynn went up on stage and was about to give her speech I could feel deep down that something was about to happen so I quickly and quietly got up and made my way towards the back of the church when I got up Steve had asked me if everything was okay I quietly told him I thought I heard a noise coming from outside. He then told me to let him know if I find anything out , u told him I would. I finally made it to the back and out the door when all of a sudden I here screams coming from inside the church I see people running and making their out of the church when all of a sudden I hear Jessica yell out someone please help Ashlynn she fell and is reading from here upper left shoulder I quickly make my way over to her as I make my way to her I notice that both Derek and Noah a down as well I ask them if they are okay and then I notice that the had mange to guard Allen and Kassandra from all what had just happen I had asked them if the got hit as well they both told me no and neither did Allen or Kassandra. They both looked at me and told me please make sure our sister is okay. I told okay. I finally made my way to Ashlynn and I seen Jessica holding pressure in her upper left shoulder I had asked how long has Ashlynn been unconscious and she said at least a few minutes. I said okay I will stay here with her. I had a lot of questions running through my mind and in that moment I wanted to ask her most of them but my goal as a cop and as friend and family member was to try and keep calm in any situation no matter what. She than told me she would be right back I am going to see if air care had arrived yet after she left I tried not to cry but apparently my eyes had other ideas. It was hard watching my sister in law lay there I try to remind myself to be strong for Ashlynn.
