A few minutes later Jessica came back in with air care and as they came over to me. I right away recognize who they were it was Brooklyn and Ken ,they had finally made it to me and asked me all the general questions: how how long has Ashlynn been unconscious?, was she moved after getting hit by the sniper bullet? The last question they had asked me was if the bullet was a through and through ( meaning it had some kind of exit after hitting her) or not I told them I wasn't sure. A few minutes later Ken went to grab the stretcher, and when he came back he had told me that Steve and Jake were looking for me. I told Brooklyn and Ken I would meet them outside by the helicopter that was going to ride with them to hospital. As I left my spot next to Ashlynn I tried not let my emotions get the best of me but I guess my mind had other ideas. Before we took off Ken had asked Brooklyn if we all set to take off. After finally putting on the final lead from the one of the machines she the told me that we all good to go. As we increased in altitude I had notice Ashlynn's eyes begin to flutter, I had motion over to Brooklyn and she had made way over to ashlynn she then had asked me to to garb her Primacare DL-9325 ( fancy term for a flashlight that doctor surgeon or any person that works in the medical field such as a nurse, doctor paramedic, air care paramedic). I quickly lifted the seat and gave her what she needed. Once she got it she turned it on ,she gently opened Ashlynn's left eye and then moved over and did the same thing to her right eye. As if by some miracle Ashlynn started to regain concessions a few minutes Brooklyn had asked Ashlynn a series of small questions: Ashlynn do know who this is standing next to me, she than responded Joshua, Brooklyn then asked her what her birthdate was, she responded 9/25/1991. The last question she had asked was the current date was Ashlynn looked a me then sat there a few minutes and told Brooklyn she was sure. As I sat there next to Ashlynn I tried to hold my emotions back as best I could. A few minutes later I heard Ken tell Brooklyn we would landing in a few minutes make are we okay to land or do you need some time finish up what you have going on. She told Ken that she was good and then before I knew we had landed.
