The Next Morning...
Elliot's Point Of View:
I woke up to the sound of my cell phone ringing at full blast. I turned over and grabbed it off of the nightstand. "Stabler." I snapped. "Well, good morning to you too." said Kathy sarcastically.
"Oh, hey. What's up." I asked as I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "I'm on my way to pick up the kids." she said. "Oh, okay I think they're still asleep, I'll wake them up in a bit." I said as I yawned. "Okay, that's fine." she said. "Alright, I'll see you in a bit." I said as I looked over to my side and saw Olivia.
"Okay, and thanks for taking care of them, Elliot." she said. "You don't have to thank me, Kathy." I said. "Okay, bye. I'll see you in a few." she said as she hung up.
I put the phone back on the nightstand and moved over close to Liv. "Good morning, my love." I said as I kissed her shoulder. "Mmm, good morning, baby." she said as she turned over to face me.
"Who was that on the phone?" she asked me. "Oh, it was Kathy. She's gonna come pick up the kids in a bit." I said with a small yawn. "Come on, my love. We have to go wake up the kids so they can get ready." I said as I slapped her bare ass to get her up.
"Ugh, five more minutes, baby. I promise, just five more." she said as she began to fall asleep again. "Babe, come on, we can sleep all you want when they leave." I said with a chuckle.
"But I don't want them to leave, baby." she said as she stuck out her bottom lip cutely. " I know, babe I don't want them to leave either, but I promise I'll try to get them back this weekend." I said as I began to pull the covers for her to get out of bed.
"Fine." she grumpled as she got up and began to get dressed. I got out of bed too and made my way into the bathroom. A couple of minutes later, she came in behind me and began to brush her teeth.
When we were both ready, we made our way into the rooms where the kids were sleeping and woke them up. "Dad, I don't want to leave yet." said Lizzie as she got up from her bed. "I know, I'll ask your mom if she can let you all come again." I said.
The rest of the kids woke up and began to pack all of their things. About ten minutes later, there was a knock on the front door and Olivia, who was only wearing a pair of short shorts and one of my long t-shirts, opened it.
"Oh, uh hey." said Kathy nervoulsy as she looked at Olivia up and down. "Hey, come in." said Liv as she opened the door wider to let Kathy inside. Kathy took a seat in the living room, which Liv and I had already cleaned up from the previous night, and waited for the kids. "The kids will be down in a minute, they kind of took a long time to wake up, so they're still not finished packing." Olivia said as she ran her hand through her hair.
Olivia's Point Of View:
The whole encounter with Kathy was kind of weird. She kept staring at me and at what I was wearing which just made the whole situation even worse and very uncomfortable. "So, how were the kids?" she asked out of the blue. "Oh, they were great. We didn't have any problems-" I tried to say but she interrupted me. "Of course you didn't have any problems, their my kids, I raised them." she said in a nasty tone.
"I know they're your kids, and never did I say they weren't. But you asked me a question and I just answered it. You don't have to be a bitch about it, just because you're mad Elliot and I were together when you decided to ditch the kids here." I shot back.
"You have a problem with me or is it the fact that Elliot and I were able to have kids together and you didn't?" she asked as she got up from the couch and stood in front of me.
