Chapter #29
3 months later
Olivia's Point Of View:
"Ugh, I don't want to get up." I groaned, as Elliot pressed snooze on our alarm clock. "I know baby, but it's Tuesday and if we don't get up we're gonna be late to work." He said as he wrapped his arms around me.
"I don't care." I said as I rolled over and laid on top of him. We slept for 15 more minutes until Elliot woke up again. "Good morning to you, and to you." He said as he kissed my forehead and then my stomach. "Come on, baby. Let's get in the shower. " He told me.
I slowly got up and we made our way to the bathroom. Around 20 minutes later we both got out and began to get dressed. "Baby, I forgot to tell you. I made an appointment for next week on Friday with the obgyn." I told Elliot as I stood in front of the mirror applying my makeup.
"You mentioned it but you never told me when the date was. Are we finally gonna find out what our baby is?" He asked with a smile. "Yeah, I'm so excited, El." I told him with a smile just as big as his plastered on my face.
"I know baby, so am I." He said as he approached me and wrapped me in his arms. "I can't believe this is actually happening." He told me as he looked into my eyes.
"I can't either, but it is, and I'm so glad that it's happening with you." I told him as I pecked his lips. "I love you so much." He said as he began to kiss me all over my face. "Elliot, my makeup." I said as I laughed.
"You look beautiful with or without it, baby." He told me as he kissed the tip of my nose. "Thank you, my love." I said as I continued to get ready.
15 minutes later we were both ready. Since school had already begun for the kids and Kathy had agreed to give Elliot custody of them without a custody battle, they were going to be staying with us.
"Good morning, kiddos." I said as Elliot and I made our way out of our bedroom. "Good morning." They all replied with smiles. "Are you all ready?" Elliot asked them.
"Almost, I just need to put my shoes on." Eli said as he rushed to go look for them. Both Elliot and I would drop off the kids, Eli was barely in 1st grade, the twins were barely in 8th grade, Kathleen was a senior in college, and Maureen was a freshman in college.
Since Maureen had her own car she'd go to college on her own, and Elliot and I would drop off the rest of the kids. By 7:45 we had already dropped off all of the kids and we were on our way to the precinct.
7 hours later
Elliot and I sat across from each other, both of us working on our paperwork. We hadn't caught a case all day long and everyone in the squad room hoped it remained that way.
I had been looking for a chance to talk to Elliot but since we had been working around other people all day long, I hadn't had a chance to. 'When are we going to tell them?' I wrote on a yellow sticky note, referring to Munch, Fin, and Captain. I folded it in half and slipped it under a file that was on his desk.
He slowly unfolded it and read it. A few seconds later he wrote on it and slipped it back on my desk. 'Idk soon though, I really want them to know already.' The sticky note read.
