Firstly this book will sort of be an AU but not.
The south side serpents are still a thing and so is Riverdale and all the characters (which I do not own) but there more than likely won't be any of the scenes from Riverdale in it for example G&G or the prison etc. There will be the transfer of south side students to speed up the plot but that's it.
A lot of ff tend to follow the story line exactly and just put an extra character or y/n into the plot which is enjoyable but I believe that for this book it'll be the same characters, same place, different drama so you don't have to read through anything you've watched already as well as giving spoilers for those who want to read a ff but haven't watched all three seasons etc.
