Chapter 20: Four of us

It's been exactly one week after new year.

I decided to stay a bit longer.

Tori and I are still pretending to be a couple.

She's really sweet and everything.

We've been hanging out a lot with Sarah and Oli.

I don't even want to but somehow Sarah always made sure to include me and Tori in their activities.

Like watching movies, playing bowling, singing karaoke and other stuff.

We are all actually spending time together right now.

We are in the middle of watching a movie in our house.

I get the feeling, Oli is not enjoying it too.

I mean c'mon, I'm sure he wants some privacy as well.

While I was in the middle of thinking..

I felt Tori moved and then she lay down her head on my lap.

She was holding my hand gently as she stare up and smile at me.

She interlock are fingers together.

I think sometimes, she's getting too romantic..

"Want some popcorns guys?" I heard Sarah say as she turn her head towards us.

She's sitting next to Oli while Tori and I are sitting on the carpet. Well, I'm sitting while Tori is lying down next to me.

I shift my attention to Sarah.

Tori looked at her and smiled.

"Nah, we're good." She replied.

After an hour, I felt myself getting sleepy.

I lean my back on the couch.

"Hey.." Tori whispered.

"Hmm?" I hummed.

"Do you want to get some privacy?" She asked.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Let's go back to your room while they are still busy watching the movie." She said whispering.

I nodded gently.

To be honest, I'm just a little tired.

We walked silently to my room while the two are engrossed with the movie.

She sat on my chair while I sat on the bed.

"Sorry.. I know Sarah can be a bit.. you know, hyper." I said apologizing.

"Don't worry about it I'm actually enjoying my time around here." She said smiling warmly.

"But I keep nagging you. I feel like I'm only using you because I don't want to be alone with them." I said apologetically.

"I can make good use of my time while you're doing that." She said playfully as she step forward and walked closer to me.

She lean closer.

I let both of my hands rest on my side.

I thought she was going to kiss me.

I heard the door open.

"What are you guys doing?" It was Sarah again..

Tori turned around and looked back at Sarah.
