Chapter 33: Summer Break

I decided to stay at home and  let Sarah be with her sorority sisters on the beach.

I told her that we have plenty of time together and she also need to relax and have some fun time with her sisters.

I mostly help my mom in the house.

She took a day off to spend some time with me.

We went to see a movie and we had some great mom and daughter bonding.

I treat her with some of the money I saved.

Most people were eyeing me.

I think my videos online were more popular than I thought.

People started approaching us.

Curious about the viral videos they saw on my music channel.

It took a few hours before I had a chance to get away.

My mom was more happy than annoyed.

"My daughter is such a celebrity out there." She said cheerfully.

"I'm sorry about that mom. Hours were wasted when we could have done more." I said apologetically.

She shook her head in disapproval.

"You should also be thankful to your fans. You're the one benefiting from their continuous support. Don't worry about me. You have to be more cautious about your image now sweety." She replied softly.

"I'll make sure to always remember that." I replied smiling as I link my arms with her.

We had our nails and hair done in a salon then I treat her a full body massage after.

It was a fun day for us in general.

It was already evening when we got home.

I rest on my room and updated Sarah about how my day was with my mom. She also kept me updated with the things she did on the beach.

She was still a bit disappointed that I wasn't there with her.

I told her that I can't wait to see her tomorrow.

I already check of the places we can visit for the next few days.

I was very excited to give her my gift.

I hope she'll like it.

The next day

I was watering the plants outside while waiting for Sarah's arrival.

After a few minutes,

I heard a familiar voice call for my name.

"Liv is that you?"

I turn around knowing the only person calling me with that nickname.

I saw Tori smiling to me. Sarah was behind her.

"Oh hey guys.." I replied awkwardly while turning off the faucet.

Tori immediately ran after me and gave me a big hug.

I gulp once.

I don't want Sarah to feel uncomfortable with Tori's affectionate behavior towards me.

I tapped Tori's shoulder gently.

Just to show that I'm also happy to see her.

"How could you not tell me that you're here? The girls and I went to the beach yesterday. You should have come with us!" She said while shaking me.
