Chapter 46: I Can't

The next morning,

I woke up next to Ivan who was still cuddle close to me.

I tried to move his arms to his side but that only woke him up.

"Good morning Love.." he said gently.

"Yes.. Love." I replied stroking his hair with my finger.

"Last night was amazing." He said still quite dreamy.

I awkwardly cleared my throat.

To be honest, I didn't feel that great. It felt like something was missing.

I don't know why..

I pull up the blanket to cover myself.

"Are you hungry? Do you want me to order food?" He asked while he stretch his arms.

I smiled at him and nodded.

"I'm going to take a bath first." I said while I cover myself. I reach for my bathrobe then toss the blanket afterwards.

"Wait, lets take a bath together." Ivan said while he pulled my hand.

We heard someone ringing the front door.

We both look at where the sound was coming from.

He wrap his lower body with a towel.

"Wait here.." he said softly before letting go of my hand.

I saw my reflection in the mirror. My hair is messy and my lipstick is smudge badly on my face.

"I look terrible.." I mumbled.

I took out my face towel and tried to remove the stain with it.

I walked out of the bedroom only to see Sarah and Ivan talking.

I instantly become self-conscious and tighten my grip on my bathrobe. I tried to hide my face realizing how terrible I look.

"Oh.. I'm sorry, I'll come back later." Sarah said hastily.

She closed the door immediately.

I frowned thinking that she wasn't suppose to be back until tomorrow.

"What did she say?" I asked curiously.

Ivan shrugged. "Nothing much.. she's mostly stun to see me." He replied casually.

I felt uncomfortable.

He took my hand again.

"Let's take a bath." He said smiling.

I reluctantly followed him.

We were just resting on the tub.

He start stroking my hair gently.

I flinch when he kiss my neck.

"What's wrong?" Ivan asked concerned.
