afterword

hello everyone,

firstly, a huge thank you to everyone who read, commented, and voted on this story.

i didn't imagine myself writing out and finishing this piece because i had planned so many different endings for this story, and i had finally had one that pleased me.

hopeless fountain kingdom is the first so-called "original story" i had written ever since my "glory days" of being a teen wolf fanfic writer. i'm not saying fan fiction is bad, but rather that i was able to move on to different things.

i started this book because of one of my closest friends insisted i'd make some sort of interpretation of halsey's album, which was based off romeo and juliet.

in ways i can improve on several things with this story, but for now it's complete. unlike my other completed story, there aren't various errors that'd take centuries to fix and edit.

i'm glad that there were people that enjoyed this story, and all i wanted for this book was something fun and easy. of course with writing, not everything is black and white.

not many will finish, let alone read till the end solely because the writing theme i originally intended to have didn't fall though the whole way, but eventually i'll have it all fixed.

unlike before, i didn't feel obligated to write a 3000-4000 word chapter, but rather have enough that would suffice, otherwise hopeless fountain kingdom would've probably never had an ending.

i started this book back in maybe october of 2017 and ended it a little later in early june of 2018.

with writing venus i had her with tougher characteristics rather than mars who was more softer toned. i didn't want my characters to be the same people but in different stories, and i'm sure i haven't done that.

now, killing off characters was always a sad thing, and for instance, i knew since the start kala would die because it caused drive/motive for venus to pursue her quest.

for the people that do like my works, then there's beta, which is a teen wolf fanfic so be aware.

secondly, there's big wheels which is a thriller and the first chapter is out. choose wisely.
