Tom

There he is. In the flesh. After 7 years. He's here. No more wondering if I'll ever see him again because he's right here in front of me.

"Tom." He breathed out. The man stood in front of me is completely different from the one kissing me 7 years ago. This mature man is now the mayor of the city after his late father.

I stood cautiously as he walked closer to me and reached a hand out to my face. At first I flinched, human contact isn't something I get often. His face fell for a moment, but only for a moment. A small smile plastered on his face as he took a step back.

"It's been a while, how are you?"

I didn't know what to say. I was speechless. In these 7 years, I was lead to believe I wouldn't see Tord again. Sure, I was told I would see my love again, but I didn't really believe it.

Standing awkwardly. Tord shifted from foot to foot before sighing. Holding his hand out, I looked at it for a second before I hesitantly put mine in his.

A small tug and I was following him towards the door. About to descend down the cold, stone stairs.

"Woah. Woah. What're you doing!?" I asked in a small voice pulling back.

Tord looked back at me, noticing my panicked face, he let go. He walked to me once more and this time managed to put his hand on my cheek. Without me flinching.

"Don't worry my love. I'm mayor now. Everyone goes by what I say." With that, he proceeded to lead me down.

People stood and stared as we made our way to the main part of the cathedral. Father smiled as he saw me. Then I was lead outside. A group of people had gathered to witness.

"This here is Tom." His booming voice announced. "He will be my husband and I will tolerate no unfairness or unkindness towards him. That goes for everyone who may be counted as different."

I was yet again led down towards a waiting carriage. Once inside, I finally let out a breath; Trying to wrap my head around what had just happened. Wait...

"WAIT, HUSBAND!?" I exclaimed looking at Tord.

He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. "About that..." He coughed before getting down on one knee. You got to be kidding me. "Will you marry me."

"Heh. Like I have a choice." I rolled my eyes before feeing them soften at the pained look on his face. Grabbing his hands I held them tightly. "Of course I will Tord."

He beamed and pulled me into a hug. Not letting go until we made it to his house. My Fiancé.

And that was it. The freak in the cathedral wasn't such a freak anymore.

Well there we have it. Sorry it was a long time coming. I've been super busy with my internship and job but I've finally managed to finish it.

I'm still thinking of something for a new book. I'm not to sure if it'll be a EW fanfic or an OC book.

Anyway thanks for reading you awesome lot!
