Sonic's P.O.V. 
"Sonic!" I heard Tails yell my name. I was laying down on a tree branch, arms behind my head and eyes closed. 

"Yes, buddy?" I asked. 

"I think I found where Eggman is hiding. I sent Knuckles and Amy to go check it out." Tails said quickly. I opened my eyes and jumped down. 

"Coordinates? I will go help." I said and he sent the coordinates to my phone. I looked at it then nodded. "I'll see you there buddy," I said and he nodded then dashed off. 

I spotted Knuckles and Amy so I walked to them. "Sup Sonic, you finally decided to join us." Knuckles said and wrapped an arm around my neck and rested it on my shoulder. 

"Hey Sonic, we were waiting for you," Amy said and smiled softly at me. I chuckled and nodded. 

"What have you found?" I asked. 

"He's there for sure, Metal Sonic is guarding the door. The sensors start from there, if it spots us, we are screwed." She explained and I nodded. 

"So you two haven't found what he is working on at the moment?" I asked as I looked around to see for a way in. I took out one of Tails trusty gadgets and set it up. It deactivated the sensors. 

"Not yet, we were waiting for you so we could go in." Knuckles explained and I started walking to the main doors. I was stopped. 

"Hey...!" I gasped and was about to punch who had stopped me since Amy and Knuckles were in front so I immediately assumed it was an enemy. 

Shadow's P.O.V. 

"You cannot harm Prince Maurice, you cannot tell him the reason he is taken, you cannot tell him where you're going. Your mission is to get him to the castle with the least amount of problems as possible. Now that you two are aware that Sonic is the runaway prince, I want you two to make sure he doesn't get hurt in combat against Eggman or his metallic double." The commander explained to us. "Sonic the Hedgehog is our top priority if anything, and I repeat, ANYTHING happens to the prince, you two will be punished. Am I clear?" 

"Yes, Sir." Rouge and I said in sync as we kept our straight face. 

"One more thing. You have to go walking, Agent Rouge's wing is still injured from the last mission and if the guards see you in front of them or inside the castle, they will attack." He explained to us and we nodded. "You are dismissed." The commander said and I let Rouge get out first, when I closed the door, she hit me with the folder. 

"Hey." I glared at her. 

"How is this possible? What is Sonic doing wasting his time on fighting Eggman when he has a whole castle, money and a family?" Rouge was shocked about it. 

"I don't know and I don't care, let's get this over with. Just because he is a prince, doesn't mean I like him or want to spend more time than needed with him." I said and rolled my eyes. Faker was always so damn annoying with me. He was always so hyper, bothering me, and chasing me. Not as bad as Rose chasing him but you get the point. It was annoying, at least he'll be gone now and leave me alone for sure. 

"We should hurry, I tracked his phone and it says he is at the base we found this morning." She said and I growled and chaos controlled us there. We saw Faker walking to the main entrance and I quickly stopped him. 

"Hey...!" He was about to punch me when he quickly stopped his fist right in front of my face. I glared at him and he moved his hand back down. "Shadow?  Rouge? What are you two doing here?" He asked as Rose and the echidna looked at us confused. 

"We need you for a mission, Blue. It is very important and we need to go now." Rouge said as I stayed quiet and crossed my arms. 

Faker sighed and nodded. He glanced at his friends who told him to go. "What are we doing? Where are we going? Should I pack?" He asked quickly as he walked to Rouge. "How is your wing?" 

"It is a bit better Blue, weve got you covered by the way. It is a few days walk, Commander said not to give away the coordinates so you'll just have to follow. You know how he is, Big Blue." She smiled softly at Faker then pat his back. "We should get going, we have our stuff already packed and ready, the same goes for you." She told him calmly which was surprising since just a few minutes ago, she was freaking out. 

I followed them to GUN.
