Sonic's P.O.V.
I dont know in what part of the conversation we got Shadows attention. I dont know in which part me and him started talking. I dont know in what part Rouge stopped talking nor when was it when Shadow first said my name instead of 'Faker'.

"Let's stop here, boys." I dont know when I stopped paying attention where we were going either.

Shadow and I stopped walking. He quickly left to go get wood to make a fire. Rouge walked to me with a big smile on her face.

"It's nice to see you two finally became friends." She said with her ears slightly lowered. I smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, you were right. He's a softy once he gives you a chance." I chuckled and she nodded. "How far is it until we get there?" I asked and she looked at her communicator and dropped her ears.

"Two days... I'm going to sleep already. Goodnight Blue." She said then went into her tent.

Shadow came back after a while and I helped him make the fire. "You aren't so bad." Shadow mumbled and I raised a brow. "I mean, I think I judge you too soon. You aren't that bad or that annoying."

"Thank you." I smiled at him and he nodded. "Why were you that way towards me though?" I asked.

"I apologize for that, you were just too clingy and came out too strong for a first the first time we met. I never gave you a chance after that." He said and I crossed my arms and looked at him a bit mad. "What?"

"Are you saying all that just because I said about me being a prince?" I glared lightly at him. He scoffed and shook his head.

"As if I care about that. I am speaking the truth, you chose to believe it or not. Not my problem." He said and walked to his tent. "I'll give you a chance now and be your friend. What do you say?"

"That it sounds sketchy." I said and chuckled.

"Name one thing ive said that didn't sound sketchy, Hedgehog." He walked in his tent. "Goodnight." He closed it and I was alone.

I stayed up for a while.

'I don't think he wants to be your friend.' Dark said.

'What do you mean?' I answered.

'You like him, I think he knows that. This is too sketchy. They havent even told you where you are going. I say you get ahead and check where this path takes you."

'No. I need to stay here. Its a mission, I know how the commander is. Shadow doesn't know I like him and he won't know.' I sighed and walked to my tent.

I fell asleep after a while. That thought still in my head.
