Shadow's P.O.V.
I was furious that he landed on top of me but that changed as quickly as it started. As soon as he looked at me and our noses touched, I felt myself relax under him, I felt calm.

I very so lightly felt my face heat up, thats weird. I've never felt like that before. My stomach felt weird and for some reason my heart beat faster as we just gazed into each other's eyes.

I didn't know what was going on, he was too close. Did I want to punch him? No, I don't feel mad at him! Then what am I feeling?!

We kept looking at each other, our sight never going anywhere but at our eyes. This was different. Maybe I am feeling better about becoming his friend? Yeah, that has to be it!

"I got all of our stuff, it took me a while to- Whoa, what's going on here~?" We both quickly looked up. I realized what was happening and I quickly pushed him off me then fixed my fur.

"Damn it Hedgehog, watch it or I will punch you next time." I growled, my heart couldn't stop racing.

"H-Hey! You were the one that grabbed my arm!" He yelled at me. I growled to defend myself.

"I told you that you were still hurt and you didn't listen!" I shouted back at him.

We continued shouting at each other until Rouge hit us with a branch. "Hey! What the hell?!" We both yelled at Rouge.

"I find both of you catching feelings and you get mad at each other? I thought you two were mature adults." Rouge said and I growled furiously as Sonic just glared.

"I am not catching feelings!" We said in sync. We glared at each other.

Soon enough, Sonic gasped and held his hand to his heart in pain. He then let tears roll down his muzzle as he started shouting in pure agony.

"Sonic! Sonic! What's going on?! What's wrong?!" Rouge shouted at him. I froze.

Sonic's P.O.V.
"Leave me alone! Leave me alone! Damn it!" I snapped at Dark.

'Let me keep looking!'

"Hold up!" Rouge quickly went through my bag and gave me the shot again. I passed out for a while.

By the time I woke up, it was night time, I knew because i was inside my tent and I couldn't see any light. I slowly crawled out of my tent and there was only Shadow on top of a tree branch with his eyes closed.

I stood up and sighed. I started walking around but before I could even get farther, Shadow appeared resting by a tree near me. I chuckled at that.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

"Dark kept bugging me because he felt as if we've been here before. I have to see if it's true." I saud and kept walking but he started following me. He stayed quiet for a while until he finally broke the silence.

"I still can't believe you're a prince." He scoffed. "You're too stubborn." He mumbled.

"Maybe, I cant believe it either sometimes." I said as I turned to look at him, he looked so handsome, his muscles were showing a lot.

"Aren't you supposed to marry a princess?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yes but I am gay so I ran away." I softly laughed.

"Just for that?" He was asking so many questions.

"No, ive told you the other reasons." I said and he hummed. "What?"

"I just dont see why you just didn't marry her." He chuckled. He can be pretty annoying too sometimes.

"She's my ex and I have my eyes on someone else. Not like I'll ever get to date him but I dont see anyone like I see him." I said and he raised a brow.

"Who?" He asked curiously.

I softly laughed and started walking backwards as I looked at him. He rested my hands behind my head as I walked and smirked. "You."
