Shadow's P.O.V.
"Later after he took them, I found out I had siblings." He shook his head. "Later discoverings were shocking to me. I didn't know how to react to what I had been told. I had a sister and a brother, we were triplets and not only that but my mother was none other than Queen Aleena." He rubbed his face.

"So that means you're... You're the prince that ran away? Why would you do that? You have a family that loves you and waits for you, you have a castle, a whole kingdom, money, love. What are you doing here?" Rouge asked what she wanted to know since she found out he was a prince. I simply stayed quiet as I saw Faker shake his head at what she said.

"Just after we reunited, Aleena was so happy to have us. We were together as a family for once and for all but then... She started pushing us to take lessons on how to properly act in the castle as a prince, or princess in my sister's case, we had no break. We are always chased by guards everywhere since shes paranoid on someone taking us again... Then... One day my mother and I had a fight." He stopped as he looked at the ground. "She wanted me to marry and become King, she wanted me to stop being Sonic the hedgehog and be Maurice the stupid King ince I were to marry Princess Sally." He chuckled softly. "I'm not even into girls."

It seemed that now that he started talking and confessing things, he couldn't stop. Rouge was shocked about what he was telling us as I just simply listened to him without saying a word or changing my expression.

"She locked me in the dungeon for a week until I found a way out. She gets mad if we don't listen to what she wants us to do. She wanted me to stop being a hero and just stay in the castle." He sighed. "She didn't raise us, some other families did so she doesn't know what she is doing is pushing us away but... She still loves us even though im afraid to go back."

"If she wanted you to stay in the castle, why didn't she just revealed who you really are?" Rouge asked and I nodded slowly, that was a good point.

"Because that could get me killed, not only by Eggman but by other people going after me. She even grabbed all my files from GUN so no one could know my secrets. She made sure my name would only be as Sonic 'the hero' and not 'the prince'." He explained and we nodded slowly.

I could tell Rouge wanted to stop the mission now. I shook my head and stood up. "We are still not done talking, idiot. You haven't told us what exactly happened just now when you got mad."

"Oh, that. You don't want to know." He chuckled and I looked at him and raised a brow.

"And why is that?" I asked with a serious tone. I saw how his fur changed a dark color and his eyes turned white then smirked creepily at me.

"Because it can get you killed~" His voice was distorted again, as if it was someone else there. He quickly went back to normal and shook his head.

"What was that?!" Rouge asked as I stayed there looking shocked at what had happened.

"You thought you knew me." He told Rouge, he was back to normal now. He looked at me. "You wanted to know. That's my old friend, Dark, I can control him most of the time, unless I am mad. He won't harm when I am in control." He explained and I cleared my throat then tossed his backpack at him.

"Let's get going." I quickly said.
