Shadow's P.O.V.
Rouge had tried to get Faker's trust all day. She refused to give up, she was too into the drama of Faker's life.

"I'm fine. We never lost contact." Rouge had asked him about his old friends and he surprisingly started talking.

"How about what happened with your family? I can tell you weren't completely honest with your answer yesterday. Your family never died did they? What are you hiding?" Faker dropped his ears at that and shook his head.

"I'm not going to answer any more questions Rouge." He simply said but Rouge pushed it. I was walking behind them, making sure no one would follow or attacked.

"Sonic, I know you well, you are-" She was cut off, Faker was growling lowly, I had never heard him growl. Their conversation was cut short since we heard an explotion.

I immediately was attacked. I groaned and fought with the robot. Faker and Rouge got him off of me and helped me up. Rouge and I were to protect Faker even if he didn't know.

"Well well~ Seems like your friends don't understand, Sonic. Are you going to tell them what's really going on here?" It was the doctor.

"Where are you?!" I growled furiously as Faker stayed quiet and looked around. I heard a stick break and I chaos speared a robot. I walked to it, there was a simple hologram of the doctor there.

I looked around to see if we were being watched but found nothing. When I walked back to them, they were already fighting.

"No! You THINK you know me but you don't! Everyone thinks they know their 'friendly hero' but they have NO idea!" He snapped at Rouge.

"You've been lying to us the entire time! What happened to your family?!" Rouge snapped back.

"THEY DIED!" Faker yelled loudly. His fur changed another color for a simple second and his voice distorted for a second there. He seemed to be freaked out about that, that even made me feel goosebumps.

He dropped his backpack and looked for something inside. He grabbed a syringe.

"What...what happened...?" Rouge asked what even I wanted to know.

"Faker, what the hell was that?" I finally got in the conversation. "Since when do you have that?"

"I never leave the house without a pack." He quickly shot himself with it and hissed quietly as he pushed the liquid inside him then took it off and threw it. "If that EVER happens again, get one and do what I did."

"What exactly happened?" Rouge asked concerned.

"I got mad." He sighed and stayed sitting down then looked at us. "You want to know the truth?"

"We want to know what's going on, Faker." I simply said as Rouge sat down so I did so as well by a tree.

"Truth is, Eggman took my family away. My adoptive family, that is. I wasn't lying when I said that." He rubbed his face. For some reason, he seemed weak, and that made me feel a bit concerned.

"Your...adoptive family...? I didn't know..." Rouge was cuf off.

"I didn't know I was adopted until later years after Eggman took them." He rubbed his face. "Can I trust you two that you won't say a thing if I continue talking?" Rouge nodded, I nodded as well now being curious.

He's been hiding so many things from us. What kind of hero is that?
