The Blossom of Spring［ Stardew Valley ］

THE FLOWER DANCE HAD PASSED AND we headed to the after party, which is at the Stardrop Saloon. It wasn't night time yet, I'm kind of glad because I didn't want to go home too late.

About the dance a while ago, with Sam, it was fun. He knew what he was doing and I guess I did a good job keeping up with the steps. But I sometimes look at Sebastian while we're dancing just to check him up if he's doing good. He was still dancing with Abigail to no surpirse, but he looked like he was longing something or someone, as if he wasn't focused on what he was doing knowing that the fact he would sometimes step on Abi's foot. Abigail would complain about it.

Basically, Sebastian and I didn't have the chance to communicate at all. He would sometimes look at me and focus back on what he was doing, but that was all of it. Oh wait, he also waved at me while s m i l i n g which made my heart melt.

So now we're at the Saloon, as the usual they would have a feast and music playing in the background. They always loved the classics, mostly they describe a song of their favorite a classic. Which also means Tonight you belong to me by The Lennon Sisters. Most men here were drinking their favorite beers and cold ones, it's common for them to celebrate and hang out here. Well, duh.

A little while now, I felt I needed to get some fresh air since I don't really like the smell of beers but they're good still. I looked around to look for someone who can join me but all of them seemed to be busy. I head out straight to the exit and left all of them inside, they didn't notice me leave anyways.

As I went out I felt the cold breeze of the wind but with the warmth of the sunset I see from the horizon, slightly covered by the trees. Well, what can I say? It's almost summer.

I walked to the long bench behind a big tree near the Saloon and took a seat. I breathed a lot of fresh air, living a town life is all I could ever ask for. I couldn't help but reminisce about the things I've accomplished this season. From the city to Pelican town, all the struggles I experienced has turned into this made me genuinely happy for once. But there are more things that are about to happen and is waiting for us, I guess I'll be struggling more and I'll just go with the flow.

As I'm rethinking of my past, I didn't notice that it was almost night time, the sun is almost gone as the moon rises. I didn't mind that much though, I like to reflect on myself once in a while.

I could still hear the song from the Saloon here. They're replaying the song before. I wasn't too long to see on my right peripheral view, I saw a dark figure standing.

I looked towards the direction and saw Sebastian, still in his blue suit, carrying his black hoodie. I just realized that I did not see him in the Saloon with Abigail and Sam. Was he out here all the time?

"Hey." He greeted, without any expressions what-so-ever.

"Hey." I replied as he sat beside me. We didn't talk for seconds, until he questioned. "Why are you here?"

I looked at him, "You first, I haven't seen you in there." I excused. He glanced away, "I don't like to socialize very often. It was also crowded in there, it felt like I couldn't breathe. Even mentioning this suit I'm wearing."

"It suits you." I bit my lower lip as I'm trying not to laugh, he looked back at me unimpressed. It wasn't long when I chuckled, "But it really does!"

He just sighed, "Whatever you say, Lemon. Now answer my question." He placed his face into his palms staring at me as his arm was resting on his leg.

"W-well, I just needed some fresh air." I explained. "Is there something bothering you?" Was the first thing he asked. He looked worried.

"What? No." I answered immediately, but to be honest I'm starting to freeze out here. It's actually surprising because summer is coming but the night's still cold as his eyes. Just kidding.

Once more, there was a silence.

I can't believe I'm with him tonight, he should be out with his friends but he's with me. I felt my heart beat so fast and my cheeks got heated up, it showed a hint of red. I hope this day would never end.

Suddenly, Sebastian sighed and got up. He looked down at me and offered his hand, "Come."

I took his hand and stood up. Sebastian led us somewhere I haven't visited yet, on the mountain top near their house. The view looks so pretty, I can see the neighboring cities with their city lights and buildings. The wind up here is hitting me, and is so damn cold I could die.

"Wait." He said, he let go of my hand. I just realized we were still holding each other's hand all the way here, I blushed. I noticed there was a picnic blanket layed on the floor, he took a seat and gestured me to do as well.

He handed me his hoodie... his black hoodie. "Wear this, you're freezing." So I took it. "Thank you."

And so I wore his black hoodie, it's so cozy and warm, I can even smell his scent. It's a little too big for me though. I faced Sebastian and noticed he was a bit pink and avoiding eye contact.

"S-so uh, Lemon." He stammered. Finally facing me, I looked at him with curiosity. "How do you like this town so far? Now that you've been here for a season."

"Well, it was a pretty fun journey with everyone especially with you guys. I didn't really imagine myself being friends with anyone here, but I'm glad I did." I smiled as I answered.

"You don't think it's not a good place?"

"No, it's not so bad. If you would like to know what is then try living in a city."

"Well, okay." What?

"What do you mean?" I looked at him. Don't tell me...

He stood up. "Hey, the day is not over yet right?"

"...yeah."

He reached his hand once again, I was about to take it as he asked-

   Hi! I just uploaded today, I haven't opened wattpad since my last update. Thank you so much for 1k views! It means a lot, thank you for voting and commenting as well! I appreciate if you still read this book/story even though I always took a lot of time to update.
