"Exactly why are you going to Florida?" Bryce asked while I Zach and I sat at the breakfast bar eating leftover Olive Garden.

"Jeff and I are going to Tour Florida State University." I said shoving a bite into my mouth. They both looked at me.

"And you didn't ask one of us because...?" I looked back and forth between them.

"Jeff's leaving after graduation and this is one of the last few chances for us to hangout." Bryce patted my back.

"Just stay safe. Jeff knows if anything goes wrong, he is to call me immediately." He kissed the top of my head and went to bed. I turned to Zach and he looked bummed.

"I wish I could go with you, but my mom is taking me shopping." He hugged me and gave me a kiss. "I'm gonna head home, goodnight love." He walked towards the door.

"Hey Zach." He stopped and turned back around.

"Yeah."

"Love you." He smiled.

"Love you too."  I got up and put my dishes away and went upstairs to  my room. I was finishing packing up my bag when I got a text from Jeff.

Jeff:
I'll pick you up at 6 w/breakfast. See you then.

Abby:
See you then Jeffy

I just hope I can get through this trip without any problems.

I woke up at 5:30 and rolled out of bed. I threw on a white tank top and jeans, and paired it with black boots.

"Hey, Jeff's here." Bryce said popping his head into my room.

"Why are you up so early?"

"Went for a run." I nodded and grabbed my bags and phone.

"I'll see you Monday night, Bryce." I ran outside and got into Jeff's car. "Morning Jeff."

"Morning Abby." he handed me my hot chocolate and muffin. "Classic Abby Travel breakfast." I smiled. "Well, we gotta plane to catch."

After a short half hour drive to the airport we started boarding the Walker Private Jet.

"So how exactly do you know where your dad lives? I thought he didn't tell you where he moved to." He raised his eyebrow.

"Well." I pulled out a stack of papers, "I found a copy of their divorce papers on my moms desk with his new address." I slid them back into my purse.

"Ah. So nobody knows we're actually going to see your dad." I shook my head.

"If anybody knew I was going, they'd stop me. I just need to hear him explain why he left us." He looked at me with sad eyes.

"Abby, you're just gonna get hurt mor-" I stopped him.

"Jeff, if you are gonna try and stop me you can get off this plane, I'm going with you or without you." He sighed and sat back in his seat. We didn't talk for a few minutes until he said "Smile!"
